Reviews: Smittybilt Premium Replacement Soft Top with Tinted Windows (ProT3k Black) - 9974235

I read the description and the one question someone asked about the upper door skins. Both the description and the person from 4wd said it does not come with them. I bought the top and the door skins separate. when i opened the top guess what i found? WAY better quality upper skins than the ones i ordered separately. which im glad! But now i have to go through the long process of returning the door skins i ordered, which sucks. but otherwise the top is WAY better quality than the regular smittybilt top. id recommend it! 4wd... you might want to change the description.

I'll Start by saying I did a ton of research and read many reviews before purchasing this premium top. Everyone said buy a bestop and you won't be disappointed, but I'm here to tell you this top won't disappoint either. I have installed a Bestop on my friends TJ and this top actually was a more friendly installation and great fit. The kit does come with the half doors and they were a superior design to the others out there in my opinion. The Fabric with this top is very thick and looks great, also it has multiple storage compartments located above the drive and passenger that are very nice. I could go on and on about how satisfied I was with the quality of this top, for once I purchased a superior product for a lesser price and was not saying you get what you pay for when it was all said and done. Bottom line, this is a very good top for the price!

Great top like the new material even more then the 1st one I bought years ago! Went on like it should it's great being able to see out my windows again.

Made a huge difference in reducing flutter noise. It's high quality with a great, tight fit. My only complaint is that the zipper pulls are weak. The actual zipper mechanism is metal and strong but the pulls are plastic. I would replace the pulls before they become an issue.

I am really happy I was able to get this top. The install was easy to install even though I was forced to do so in cold weather due to the my factory rear window being damaged. The top is a really nice material and looks very similar to that of the my old JK OEM Premium tops. I would highly recommend this top for the looks and price for anyone looking

Great fit for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Tint is great and I can see SO well out the windows it’s incredible. Forgot what that felt like and I regret not buying this sooner. I definitely won’t hesitate in the future, super high quality. My car looks AMAZING! Comes with clear instructions for installation but youtube also helped. Also explains upkeep in the manual.

I finally changed the old soft top out with the premium top. I originally had spice, but went back with black(the paint is black). It came with the 1/2 doors. I waxed the Jeep...looks like a new model!

It's definitely a major improvement over the MOPAR top And it fits like a glove

I purchased this top to replace my Smittybilt top (S/B9970235). This top (S/B9974235) is much better quality and I recommend spending the extra $150 on it. Since my original soft top hardware was worn out, I purchased the Bestop replacement kit (BST55002-01). The Smittybilt top was extremely tight fitting over this hardware and I almost returned it for a Bestop top. But with a lot of stretching, tugging at zippers, and patience, it fit. My Jeep is an '04 Rubicon.
