Terrible engineering

The rear legs don't sit between the tub ridges and as a result, don't sit flat on the floor of the vehicle. The center attachment point (where seat latches to jeep tub) also doesn't sit flat between the strips and lays crooked on the floor. Once installed, and driving the front rod that attaches the front legs rattles terribly which makes for a very noisy ride. Overall, the manufacturer could have done a test fit as it would clearly show how the two rear legs and rear latch could be moved an inch or so in either direction to fit better. I'll also add that historically, every time I've ordered Smittybilt, their products fit poorly and I have to exchange for something made better. Pictures show install on a 2005 LJ / TJ Unlimited.

Well made and durable. Loge the fold away feature.

Jeep back seat cj7

All bolted down fine except the hold down bracket in back didn’t match the seat belt hole. Other than that it is a good seat.

Great replacement seat

The seat is just as advertised. Fit perfect and was easy to install. I only wish it had come with the bolts to mount it to the floor of the Jeep. My jeep didnt have a backseat or the bolts when I bought it. Took a little research to find the right size bolts. It would be nice if they offered the bolts as an add on with the seat purchase.

Like having a real Transformer

Bought the Jeep with no back seat to cart my BIG dogs around. But with no back seat I couldn't cart but 1 grandchild at a time, thus, the purchase of a back bench seat. It is so nice I don't really want the dogs on it but it folds up to take up only about 8" or so of depth. The dogs still fit and I don't have to wrap bungie cords around the kids to teather them to the side roll bars when I drive.

Fold and tumble

This is my second purchase of a fold and tumble rear seat. Had one in my 83 CJ. Now I have one in my 73 Commando. Looks better than factory orignal. Although, not a factory match so it took a little work to get it in there.
