Fits my 2013 Wrangler JK snug and looks like factory install.

This thing went on very easy--put it on (12-14-2012) Took about 35 minutes to install on a 2008 Jeep wrangler. Haven't used it yet--but the welds look pretty good--so don't think there will be a problem.

I took off the bumper skin and bolted the receiver to the bumper in an easy 15 minutes. I needed it to pull my boat while waiting for my custom bumpers to be delivered. Don't hesitate to get one of these as the fit and finish are excellent.

Great product for a great price. It was really easy to install and I installed the trailer wiring harness at the same time in under one hour.

This was pretty easy, less than 45 minutes total for the installation. Hints: There is little space between the bumper and frame. I used a piece of 1x3 as a wedge which helped a lot. I used contact cement to glue the nuts and washers together. I installed a harness too... The instructions said to drill a hole for the ground lug, but I found that there were some threaded studs already in place... I think I used a 6.5mm nut (from the junk pile)

the only thing i did not like is the hardware that came with the hitch. it comes with metric 8.8 grade bolts, i would rather it come with 10.9 grade. i used 4 1?2 inch grade 8 bolts with flange lock nuts. this really wasn't much of a con. overall great product for those that don't have a hitch.

I installed this hitch and the wiring harness in approximately 1 hour, by myself. The hitch directions say that you must remove the tow hook before installing, but I found this to be untrue on my 2012 Wrangler Unlimited. To make it easier to install the washers and captive nuts onto the bolts, use a pry bar to pull the plastic bumper away from the frame slightly enough to put them on and tighten. Doing so did not damage the bumper at all. This hitch was easier to install than what the directions even imply! The only negative is that this hitch, like most all of SmittyBilt products, is made in China. I didn't know this when I ordered it.

This unit would be easier to install if the Nuts were welded on as shown in the pictures.

The illustrations on the direction sheet should have been easier to see. However, since the installation was easy it didn't make any difference.

Easiest install after bumper cover is removed - comes off in 6 bolts - and the wiring harness couldn't be easier that came with this, it plugged and routed perfectly, and the plastic push-tabs matched up to the factory holes to snug it right up. Haven't towed my boat with it yet but I'm sure it will be fine, cargo tray and bike rack are great so far.

Very well design

Harness clip is made to hold a harness bigger than 4 pin. Other than that it was easy to install and fits good.

The install directions were not great but it was still the easiest hitch install I have ever done. Had to remove the rear bumper to get it on but that is also extrememly easy. A few bumper bolts, slide it into place, tighten the bolts, put the bumper back on. Took less than 30 min.

Very tight space between receivr and bumper. would like to see nut and washer tac-welded to receiver. would have made instal a breese. used duck tape to hold nut in place.
