This particular top is made of a high-performing vinyl-coated polyester. While vinyl is highly durable and relatively quiet, it is not ideal for every driver and every application. An alternative material to consider is sailcloth. Sailcloth is more expensive than vinyl, but some Jeep owners prefer its sound characteristics. Mike James Director of Sales and Marketing

I really liked my new top, it was very easy to install ( I did it myself it took about an our) , my car looks great and new.

Purchased this for my partner's birthday gift and of course I had to be the one to also put it on. The top looks just like the original (minus the tears and holes that the old one had). Easy to put all the pieces together and directions worked just fine. The one reason I give it 4 stars is due to the extreme tightness that the top had due to it's newness. We spent an hour just trying to stretch it into place. I know that it will eventually loosen up, but this seemed to be way too tight. Hopefully it loosens up enough that we'll feel safe taking it off to enjoy the weather.
