Had installed 305/70R17 MTR on my 2013 Jeep Rubicon' stock wheels and needed to get them out a bit so they would not rub. Worked as described and as planned. Nice that they are black and do not show through.
I've been told that if you do a lot of rock climbing you may want to choose new wheels with the correct offset verses using these. However, for someone who will occasionally be off-road and mostly driving to work and around town, these are a fantastic solution to keep your factory wheels. I have a 10th anniversary rubicon unlimited and really like the factory wheels. I have 35/1250 General Grabbers installed and a 3.5" AEV Dual Sport lift. I have zero rubbing. We fully articulated the suspension with the sway bar disconnected and still had about 1/4" of clearance between the rear tire and fender (see pics). Without the lift installed I still had full lock-to-lock turning capabilities, but the rear tires would rub the plastic caps on the factory rock rails if the rear suspension flexed much.
I did want to put wheel spacers on my Jeep, but I made a mod that required it. The Rugged Ridge spacer are a high quality part that doesn’t break the bank. I put them on and re-torque them, they were still tight. I would recommend to anyone who needs spacers.
I bought the wheel spacers to provide more room for larger tires on my 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. The spacers kit was complete with no added parts required and was very easy to install on my own. I am not an expert mechanic, but installation was a breeze. 4WP was easy to shop on and quickly delivered my spacers. Great job!
One of wheels spacer's studs broke on my first drive. I purchase considering they were meant for offroading but didn't make it on its first run.
They haven't been installed but maybe 2000 mi. But they are holding up. Simple installation. It does not come with threadlocker so be sure to get yourself some of that.
Used these and 2" coil lift was able to fit 245/75r16 no problem.
I needed a spacer that would keep my tires from rubbing on the control arms on my Jeep but I didn't want something that would be to flashy . I love the fact that they're black not red or blue .
Make sure you do your breaks befor hand. And make sure you either carry a socket thats the correct size of the lugs or another tire iron.
