Simple swap out....TJ now marking true MPH.

Nice that it is color coded. Fit well. Corrected speedo as designed. Easy to install.

Changed the diff gears and speedo was off. Replaced gear with corrected number of teeth... (see gear calculator on web-site) Be sure you install correctly. The transfer case has a index tab that lines up with the speedo drive assembly. The Speedo assembly has different numbers at four locations. Select the ones that include your number of gear teeth. Don't forget the oring when buying a new gear..

Took about five minutes to install. Make sure you put retaining clip in the right slot on your Speedo Sensor. It's marked for different size gears.

After a tire and/or gear change this is the only way to correct your speedometer. This can be changed in less than 10 minutes. Make sure you clock it right.

When re-gearing to 4.56s this is the perfect gear to correct the speedometer for accuracy.

Having installed a 3 inch lift and 31's we knew the speedo was no longer accurate. After determining the right gear we ordered and installed this 32 teeth long shaft gear. Once installed we checked the speedo against my car and GPS and it was dead on perfect. Now my son will have no excuse for possible getting a speeding ticket!

Works like it is supposed to. I have a 2001 XJ. Not sure why 4wheelparts doesn't list this as compatible if you do a vehicle specific search

This is the suggested speedo gear for 4.88's and 33 inch tires. The speed is still off however. At 65 mph gps says I am going about 62-63. A lot closer than it was and I'll contribute it to tire wear.
