Much easier to install on a new vehicle that doesn't have the dirt dropping in your face on an older vehicle. 2nd vehicle I have installed this one and the simple bolt on application is great with no drilling.

Easy to install. Half of what a dealership would charge and it is the same product. Wiring harness was all of 5 minute install.

The available space for putting the nuts on the bolts is mesger. probably more a jeep Design issues than a hitch design issue

I used on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport, it was easy to install and functions well. Very pleased the kit came with the electrical plug. Electrical installation instructions were great, and functions well.

I like the price and that it comes with the plug and play wiring harness also it has the bracket built in to hold the plug end;)

This was so easy to install and the wiring that came with it was simple. The whole system installed in less than 30 minutes.

Great fit and finish, very impressed. The wiring harness installed easily, with the pins securing the harness to the body and frame lining up exactly. Due to the VERY small and narrow space between the bumper and hitch/frame; having to put the washer and nut onto the bolt was difficult. used a drop of contact cement between washer and nut (avoiding the nut threads)and needle nose pliers to hold and align nut/washer onto bolt allowed for a quick install. VERY happy with product!

I bought a Jeep this past year and have a trailer needed a hitch so I found this product and purchased it. I employed the help of a friend who has done tones of off road installations of after market products. 28 Min later the Hitch assembly was on and everything lined up exactly as it was suppose to... without fail this was the easiest and best built aftermarket product either of us have ever installed. Excellent marks!!!

I ordered this hitch for my 2012 JK Sport. The instructions said I would needed to remove the factory installed recovery hook from the rear. I wasn't looking forward to loosing my hook. Well I got the hitch super fast, which was a nice surprise. The quality of the hitch and wiring harness was very good. I took the hitch into the garage and 30 minutes later it was on. Also, I did not have to remove the recovery hook, it was out of the way, so another nice feature. One note is you may have to loosen the bumper mounting bolts to give additional room to start the nuts on mounting hardware. I did but no biggie in putting them back in and keeping everything aligned properly.

When you begin the install take a 1/2 inch drive 1 inch socket and put it between the metal mounting bar and the plastic cover this will allow enough room to hold the nut while you get it started you have to pry the plastic a little to get the socket in but when you remove it the plastic pops back into place I did get some double sided tape to stick the nut on so I could reach the 2 inside bolts easily total install from opening the box to complete 30 min.

I am not a mechanic, Nor do i perform any major repairs. But I can turn a wrench and also follow directions !! This install was a breeze. From start to finish, about 30 minutes. Some reviews I've read said they took the bumper off. I left mine on and did not have any issues. Once I put the bolt thru, I used a pair of needle nosed plyers to reach up and slip the washer on... then I used an adjustable wrench to hold the nut in place while i started the thread of the bolt. Once that was done the rest was easy. The wiring was a no brainer- Just follow the directions!! Very pleased with not only the price but the delivery was on time and the instructions for assembly was on the money. Oh yea--- looks great too!!

I liked the design of the hitch kit. I use it for assorted uses such as luggage rack...It was relatively easy to install and I like the fact that the electrical harness plugged into the light harness of the jeep. As in previous comments I used duct tape to hold the nuts to the wrench which made installation a snap. I would highly recommend this product.

Great Value. Wiring was super easy to install. Nuts were hard to get started. (No room for your fingers) I wrapped my open end wrench with painters tape to hold the nut in place and then just needed a little patience!

Was easy to install...works great! Was a heavy duty hitch that even I couldn't break...I've been towing boats since I got it and have been very pleased! Would recommend this product to others
