Reviews: Rugged Ridge Bull Bars

I was looking for a solid front bumper and I purchased the Rugged Ridge XD Stubby and I saw that they had an option of a Bull bar or the X Striker bar. After looking at the X Striker bar I thought it added to the looks. Glad I got it; it really finishes off the front-end of 2015 JK Rubicon.

This Bull Bar was easy enough for me to install that I did it myself using a small step stool as my helper. Great design and with the ability to add two off-road lights with the supplied mounts makes this bar a really good value as well . .

Looks great. Obviously as a bolt-on addition to the bumper, it's not really structural. But it does look good. I just wish they had left a little more clearance between the bull bar and the tow hook on the bumper. It is difficult to get the loop of my kinetic rope over the tow hook. But it's OK for my soft shackle.
