Let's be honest here. This is a big slab of steel that has been cut, bent, powdercoated, and stuffed in a box with some nuts & bolts and stuff. Kind of expensive when you think of it, but way cheaper than a laser cutter, hydraulic press, and powdercoating equipment so I'm cool with that. It showed up, I dumped it out of the box, then unfolded said box and used it so I could slide under the Jeep because the grass was wet. It bolted straight up easy-peasy, no big deal. It is pretty heavy, but I was able to pin it to the chassis with one arm and my right knee while I was threading the crossmember bolts. The next day I took it out into the woods and bashed it on some rocks. Scraped the powdercoat right off, but some rattle-can undercoat fixed that right up. Otherwise really didn't hurt the skid, because huge slab of steel plate. I plan to get the rest of the kit, because my factory skids aren't doing so well. Also came with a cool sticker, and who doesn't like stickers? Get that Jeep a sticker. Jeeps love stickers.

This solid heavy slab of steel is one of the best things you can add to your Jeep if you're going to be hitting trails with rocks. I already had the RockHard Oil Pan skid installed and these two skid plates integrate perfectly with each other. All the holes lined up PERFECTLY! Be patient on the install it will all line up.

Large Rock 0, RockHard 1! I scuffed the skid plate paint but no damage! Recently I just added the RockHard Transfer case skid plate and these two fit together perfectly!

This is my fourth Rock Hard 4x4 product, great quality and you are getting what you paid for - protection for those soft underbelly items that will cost you a fortune to repair.

This was the first skid plate I put on my Jeep. I just got back from Utah where I put a nasty rock right into it. Big ugly scrape but no damage or bending. I am impressed!

Did the install myself with floor jack and bottle . scissor jacks. Instructions were poor however OK to figure out once I spent time under the Jeep. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
