I put this in my 05 rubicon. It fit very well. No issues with any parts. Solid welds all hardware fit. I sprayed it with line x and the only issue which was due to my laziness was i did not tape the contact areas off first but a little bit of scraping and some patience and all fit well. This cage really adds some rugged style and safety to the tj.

Great product....recommend powder coating if you want a glossy finish....if not, rattle can and satin coat.....:)

After waiting forever for my Smittybilt cage, I switched my order to this one. I love it. I sprayed bedliner on it and installed it myself. It wasn't easy. I would do it again though. Very sturdy.

Install was as expected (make sure to read & watch videos re: proper order of install especially regarding the lower windshield bar). I do wonder how future windshield replacements will go. -1 star because the bolt location on that lower bar needs to be re-thought / designed better.

Only things I would have like to see was the wells cleaned up. For the money I think those could look a lot better. Same size Allen heads would have been nice Other wise was a good install Other things that would help Paper Tempelet for cutting the surrounds for the didn't years. Primed instead of bare steel.

Easy to install, (leave side bars loose until cross and center bars are in place, then put bolts in. This cage will protect in case of an accidental rollover, but the body mount will probably result in major damage. Would recommend the frame attachment kit for serious wheeling. Of course, I wouldn't recommend this for rock climbers.

It helps give me piece of mind because my kids ride the trails with me. I love the look and feel. It's a lot of work to clean prime and paint. Then putting on the side pieces took 3 hr. If you don't put in the door shims it will rub the doors.

Installation is pretty straightfoward....take your time, dont get frustrated, and alternate tightening opposite bolts to prevent crossthreading. You'll lose the ability to use the grab bar on the passenger side, and the front speaker on the driver side. I replaced the included bolts with some hardened steel bolts, which seemed to go in much easier (The machine shop told me the included bolts were of poor quality). Overall, a great upgrade for your Jeep.

Installed just like the instructions said. Looks great and makes me feel safer off-roading in my jeep. Handles make getting in my jeep easier and do not block my view.

Eveything came together beautifuly. The quality is very high and the instructions were very well written. Make sure you have everthing in place and all measurements correct. Then and only then should you begin to tighten this as a complete unit. Best to have someone wrenching on both sides, I did it alone and still nailed it. I'm very pleased with the Rock Hard Sport Cage.
