Reviews: Rancho RS5000X Series Shocks

This is a tough SOB. My front axle broke-cv joint. It put a huge dent in it. I drove home 75 miles like this. When I took it off it still had full range of travel and didn’t leak. 4WP and Rancho shipped my new one in a huge box that looked good on my porch. This is a shock for winners. Rancho for life!!!!!

Recently installed these on my Jeep wrangler. Easy install, came with all the hardware. Jeep is driving much better now that I have working front shocks.

I had fab tech on before the Rancho shocks and these are hands down way better shocks.

Easy install and great price. Greatly improved the quality of ride on my 2015 Ram 2500 4x4 and made in the USA.

Great shocks that improved my ride tremendously and stopped the swaying I had. I bought my Jeep used and the ride was like riding on a rough sea. I took the old shocks off the front and there was no return on them at all when I collapsed them. The rear were the same. I replaced all four shocks and the steering stabilizer and the ride improved by 100%. NOTE ON ORDER TIME: Their website says order by 2 pm (now says 3 pm) and available the next business day. I ordered at 11:30 in the morning and they were not available until SIX days later. Store employees were sympathetic about this and helpful with the sale but it was SIX days! Maybe my order was the exception....

These are not the first pair of Rancho RS5000X that had on my 4x4s. The quality and innovation is what keeps me coming back for more.

Completely changed the ride in my TJ. Great value option.

Honestly, I can't tell the difference from stock with these on my JK 2 door. For me that is a good thing as I daily drive on a lot of rough pavement and hard pack gravel roads. Hopefully, they will be more fade resistant when I spend a lot of time at higher speeds on the gravel roads.

These shocks are pretty great. I replaced more than likely a 30 year old pair of shocks that haven't been touched on my project truck and the noticeable difference puts a smile on my face. No more body roll on turns and the response is great when there are a lot of bumps. Easy to install as they are pretty nice to look at as well.
