Reviews: Rancho RS5000 Steering Stabilizers

I use the rancho steering stabilizer for everyday use. Most of my driving is highway so jeeps have a tendency to sway back and forth. When I put the new stabilizer on it help with the swaying motion. The jeep goes a lot straighter and is less persuaded by the wind to do what it wants! I love the better handling and look forward to my next 4 wheeling trip! Over all great product. I have not run into any problems with it.

I would reconend it for any one to use, i had some wondering in the front end of mu\y truck and it stoped it and made it handel better

This stabilizer fixed my alighnment completly. It took just about all of the play out of my steering wheel. Bumps and ruts don't jerk my wheel near as badly as they did. Great product all in all. Super eaisy to install too.

I had new larger tires & a frontend alignment but could still feel a little side to side movement in the steering wheel when going down the highway. It wasn't bad but just didn't feel rite. I installed the Rancho Steering Stabilizer and it fixed the problem. Install was simple. FYI It's silver not white like in the photo's..

Replaced the second Busted Steering Stabilizer replace and added Rancho Relocation Bracket. Great Value!

I have been battling worn idler arms and pitman arms for years! I wish I would have bought this a LONG time ago! Great improvement overall!

Easy to install, my old one was bad and i put bigger tires on the truck so the truck would steer where ever it wanted to. this made a big difference and much easier to drive no more constantly trying to correct the steering just to try and go straight down the road

This RS5000 Steering Stabilizer was just what the doctor ordered. It took that little shimmy and shack out of the steering wheel plus it gave me back the ease and comfort of driving on long trips.

jeep cherokee-98 stock set up- had SERIOUS front end wobble after hitting road bump/RR track crossing, etc. I changed out the track bar+bushings and anti-sway bar bushings, re-aligned, but no good results. the steering damper (shock) was worn out (SHOULD HAVE CKED IT FIRST!); installation of the new and larger than stock unit completly solved the wobble problem.

Decided to move up in quality to a replacement RS5000 steering stabilizer. Works great and it was easy to install. I could feel the improvement in my ride.

Installed one of these to replace the factory stabilizer, which was lacking in my opinion. Works well, no problems, even over heavy wash boarded dirt roads.

Its worth it i had pro comps steering stab. on my 04 rubicon and it kept leaking. This one has handled longer and with no problems still. I bought another one just to put on my 03 rubicon. And my friend just put one on her 04 rubicon recently.

Took what little wobble I had in my frontend out. Now I have a smooth ride. Rancho products speak for themselves. Plus 4 WheelParts [...] hard to beat their prices. Thanks

This product works well and looks great. It is also the best stabilizer for the price.

Easy install you need a steering knuckle removal tool to remove ome damper and bbaster once you get the tapperd stud out it's an easy replacement. Check you tube for information.

Me and my brother put this on in my driveway in about 20 minutes. Running 33s i get alot of vibration and pull but wit the stabilizer on it rides so much better.

Great product, ordered it because I got a 4.25" lift and 33' mud tires and it rides better than stock. the dampener is almost twice the size of the factory one.

everything went great till I tried to bolt up the outer end. The threads on both ends of the bolt were trashed. I had to go buy 2 dies to fix the threads. Other than that, its an easy install and tons better than the stock unit.
