Patience getting at lower nut. Remove front grill for easier access.

My hood does not bounce anymore with these lockdowns. The stock bungees allow the hood to bouce espcially in high winds. I didn't relize how much the hood bounced until I saw another Jeep on the highway. Also feel more secure with keyed access to the engine compartment.

I installed lockable hood latches mainly to prevent any unauthorized access to the engine compartment of my 2011 JEEP JK Wrangler. They were easy to install, give the vehicle a nice finished look and they give me peace of mind.

Easy to install and adjust so that the latch catches properly. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. Added these to feel better about leaving my Jeep in some of the secluded areas I frequent plus just in general in the cityy.

Everything I expected. Easy to install. Holds hood securely. Locks well. Looks great.

It was a little tough to install just because of where the bolts are. Could use more adjustment for the part the mounts to the hood. Over all a very secure latch.

Solid product that solved the vibrating hood on highway rides on my JK. Install was rather simple. Its a little difficult to access the bottom latch bolts but easier than I expected. I need to adjust the alignments of the new latches a few times to find the best fit. Initial install had the driver's side fit too tight. 2021 Jeep JK Unlimited

The concept is great but it took multiple times adjusting for the latches to close correctly and to be easily opened.
