Reviews: Rampage Double Tube Rear Bumpers

This bumper is great. It is smooth, matte, black, and DOES NOT match the 88625 front bumper despite being from the same company. The front bumper is heavily textured. So taking a star off for Rampage not offering matching bumpers in the same texture. I am taking one of the bumpers to be power coated to match the other. Ridiculous.

The bumper is as advertised. It's not a bumper to attach D-rings or tow hooks, but is far better than the stock bumper. There is a larger gap between the bumper and the body of the Jeep than I expected. Installing this, I found the following steps to make it easier if you are doing the install solo. 1. Loosely attach both brackets to the bumper. Don't fully tighten the bolts. 2. Open tail gate. 3. Remove the factory bumper. 4. Remove Factory tow hook on driver side. (3 very long bolts) 5. Insert the bumper brackets into the frame opening. 6. Tighten down the bracket bolts to the frame. 7. Level the bumper and tighten down the bolts on the bracket/bumper.
