I installed this on a 2017 Z71 with a Pro Comp 6 inch lift. Fit perfect and easy install. I had it done in an hour.

I had a 6inch procomp suspension lift already installed. This fits perfectly with it-no modification needed. All I had to do was remove the stock skidplate brackets. (Duh?!) The holes on the suspension cross members are already tapped, so no drilling or cutting needed. Big thanks to West Covina 4WheelParts for giving me advice on the install. Great skids for the Pro Comp lift. Install was easy, minor drilling was needed, overall perfect fit. Cant beat this for the price!

I bought this Pro Comp steering box protector after learning how vulnerable the Jeep steering box can be. I selected this one, as it is made of 1/4 inch steel unlike most others, which use 3/16 inch plate. It is easily installed and the instructions are clear as to where to drill the single hole required. Since installation, the box has taken several hits on the rocks and protects the steering without any problems.

I replaced the OEM bumper on my Jeep Wrangler TJ with a high clearance rock crawler version. After my first time out on the trail I noticed an improvement in approach angle but also noticed my power steering pump was taking some abuse. I purchased this armor because it was one of the thickest materials and was priced better than most. Installation was a snap and took about 15 minutes. After installing I noticed that the material of the armor was thicker than the frame it was bolted to. I wheeled with it the next week end and it took a few digs but other than some paint scratches it did its job well. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Install in less than 10 min took a lot of abuse already at the Cadillac Jeepers Blessing of the Jeeps.I would have destroyed my steering gear in the rocks if not for this skid plate its got a couple nasty scars now.But i drove the Jeep home...Thanks to the guys at 4Wheel Drive Cleveland Ohio.you are the best!!!!!!!!!

Good heavy duty skid plate mounted on easily with the slotted mounting holes. The self tapping bolt is alright

I ordered this for my 2003 Silverado HD that I lifted using a Pro Comp lift back in 2003. I wasn't convinced it would fit like it said it would and I was right. The top 3 bolts lined up perfectly and the contours of the skid plate fit nice too. The problem came when the bolt holes on the plate did not line up with the bolts holes on the front cross member like it was supposed to. I ended up drilling and tapping new mounting holes on the cross member to get it to mount. It may bolt right up to the newer Pro Comp lifts but didn't on mine which is older.

looks really good and does its job! its a lot stronger than i thought it would be too! its a bit overpriced but it was the only option.
