The shock does what it is intended to do. improves steering vibration.

4 Wheel Parts recommended replacing the steering shock for wobble - and it really helped (also got new tires which it about needed). Thanks 4 Wheel Parts for the great help! I'll be back for more!

Was easy to install but the supplied taper bolt did not fit a Jeep TJ. The directions did not state if it would or not. Just had to use the original bolt and bushing sleeve. Seems to work fine.

I replaced the old worn out stabalizer and this is so much better. It reduces the slack and rebound and had made the jeep easier to control.

This shock was part of a 4 inch lift I put on my 94 Jeep Wrangler. The entire kit was awesome and easy to put on. I personally did it in my drive way on base. Awesome product!

This was used to replace the factory original on a 1993 Jeep Wrangler which already had a pro comp 4" lift. The steering was jittery at freeway speeds prior to this install. Made steering more responsive and was a breeze to install. anyone who has basic mechanical aptitude could do this. Not all hardware that came with it was usable. I have only driven the Jeep once since install so experience with this shock is limited.

Great product when you put a 5.5" lift under the Jeep Wrangler. It goes down the highway without any wheel fighting. You can actually drive with one finger (Although, not recommended).

Took the shake right out of the steering on my jeep. Easy to install, comes with all hardware.

I have 33x12.50's and the steering dampner is much better than stock, giving the jeep a much better on-road feel. I did notice that it rides a little smoother off-road with more positive steering feel. Any bigger than 33's and I would like something more aggressive. I had a trail master HD steering stabilizer and the bracket broke, I replaced it with the procomp stock replacement unit and it was much better.

Good value for the price and time spent installing it. I had a slight wobble with the 35" tires on my jeep before installation. Now the wobble is gone. Great upgrade from the factory unit.

I use for everyday use.
