On dark road it lights up like daytime

Good: 4 of these light up the road better than my old KC Daylighters and cost way less! Bad: Poor quality paint on the housing...rust on all 4 after a few months. Overall, I would recommend them....for the performance you get at this price....it can't be beat!

Mounted on the top of my rack, they provide a long focused beam perfect for seeing where I'm going.

I was looking for an economical solution for lighting up the trails should the trailruns run into the night. Granted they dont throw a beam like some of the more expensive higher wattage lights but for the money I'm very satisfied with the four Explorer lights I installed. I also really like the sleek look of the rectangular design. My only complaint would have to be the supplied switch, it's pretty cheap and cheesy looking and no matter how well it's installed does not look good.

simple, quick, and easy: Very bright lights, BUT the "semi-fluted" beam provides a tighter pattern than one would expect from a 6x9 rectangle light. There is a definate bright spot in the middle of the beam and then it fades away from there very quickly. Do not expect to evenly light up a large area with them. I also have a pair of 6" diameter Pro-comp spot lots on my bumper and to me it seems like the beam pattern is very similar. They're bright, and yes I would recommend them...just know what you;re getting.
