Pro Comp Brake Hose Kits

Great replacement for factory lines especially with a 4" lift on a Jku

Pro comp brake line kit performs

I have a 4" rancho suspension lift, it actual sits about 5" higher due to the add-a-leaf in the rear. These lines are the perfect length for the lift my my truck has on it. I only had to drill one hole to mount the loop that keeps the line out of harms way. Pedal is more responsive than the stock rubber lines. I recommend these for any lifted truck up to 6".

Great Product

Greatest pro about these brakelines is the length. Even when flexed with the 4" lift I have they still have another 4-5" of slack in them. My braking is night and day compared to before. And all 3 brakelines in one package can't beat that.

I would buy again

Excellent product for 12" lift on '80's Chevy truck, it didn't say that it would work on a K30 1-ton but fit fine

Great

I've got a 4" lift on an 86 Burb. With the suspension fully droped I still have plenty of slack in the line. Easy install, great product.

These are a very worthwhile upgrade!

I recently purchased this steel braided brake line kit to replace my 25 year old rubber brake hoses. This was a complete brake job; the only parts that were not replaced were the steel brake lines, vacuum booster and master cylinder (the booster and master cylinder were replaced within the last 5 years). Upon completion of this job, I must say that my 1985 Ford F150 truck drives and stops just like when she was new (good for another 25 years). I have no complaints about these steel braided lines; I believe that they should last longer than the original equipment rubber hoses. I highly recommend these to anyone that wants to upgrade from the factory type stock rubber hoses. The only downside that I can find is that they are a little long for my application, all I had to do was secure them a little different so as not to rub anywhere ( I zip tied them to the shocks in the front). All in all, these are a very worthy investment.

Good product for the money

I did a disk brake swap on my '76 CJ7, I had to drill the end of these out to 7/16" to work with my setup (using chevy calipers) but have found the brake ines work very nicely. I don't get pulling one way or the other at all, and have great stopping power. The pedal however feels a bit gushy, I can push it down to about 1-2" off the floor, but driving on the street it stops on a dime. It stops quicker than my Dodge Ram with disk brakes on all four corners by far. Seems to me like a very good product, and a tip for anybody installing these, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE BANJO BOLT REALLY TIGHT. I'm talking around 70-80 ft. lbs of TQ. I had to get mine very tight to stop it from leaking.

It's all there

I like the adjustable heat-shrink band to prevent chaffing. Well thought out.

Great product, fit just as advertised

Perfect replacement, fit was perfect. Used them on my 1996 2wd tahoe with a 4" rough country spindle lift.

More appropriate for a 4-6" lift

These are high quality lines and the kit includes everything you will need except for brake fluid. What I didn't like is that the fitting doesn't fit in the frame exactly like the original did. Also, the lines are excessively long for a 2.5" lift, but since you can't find just a 2" extended line, it is what it is. At least I won't have to worry about breaking a line on full flex like I did previously.
