Reviews: Pro Comp 6 Inch Lift Kit with ES3000 Shocks - K1048B

I was lucky enough to purchase a '90 k1500 that already had this lift installed. The only aspect of the kit that could be improved upon, is the lack of quality bushings for the a arms, sway bar end links, ect. The severe bushing deterioration could possibly be attributed to the super dry climate in which the truck has been kept, or just the age of the truck showing. Either way it didn't seem like enough reason to not rate this lift as "perfect".

As stated in another review this isn't for the shade tree mech to install so I had the Marietta, GA 4wheelparts store install it. They did a first rate job and my 1995 GMC K1500 4WD Suburban has never driven/ridden better. I was able to put a new set of 35" Procomp wheels and tires on my truck and I don't mind saying I like the way it all makes my truck look. In my estimation Procomp makes the best lifts around and for what you get the price is great.

This lift was built to do the job right. I love it

I have had this kit on my son's truck for about two months now and have nothing but good things to say about it. With the addition of a 3" body lift I am running 37's with now problems. It is driven every day about 140 miles and the ride is better then stock. The kit is not for the novice installer but does come with great instructions. All stock adjustments are retained which is great. Most parts fit with little or no problems which has not been the case with other kits I've installed. I did weld the upper A arm brackets to the frame as I did'nt like the bolt on application. It has worked great for daily driving and lite off road. Overall a great kit.
