Reviews: Pro Comp 44 Series Syndrome Satin Black Alloy Wheels

I was so confused because there are so many styles, but kept coming back to this one. I made the purchase and since it was on back order I kept contemplating calling and changing them, but glad I didn’t.

The wheels arrived within a couple of days. They look great and they were easy for my guy to install. I had checked several sites for this specific wheel and by far the best pricing was here.

Great looking, good price with discount. Would have been 5 stars if not for “the puddle”. Water and mud sit in the rim held back by the fake bead lock. I’m sure this will wear out the finish. I’ve had similar looking rims that didn’t do this.

I love these rims and how they look on my 4Runner. The only thing I don't like is "the puddle". Perhaps I should have known this since these rims have the faux bead lockers, but the big lip for the bead lockers holds water. So any time I go through the car wash, any time it rains, or if the roads are wet I get standing water inside the rim. If there is not standing water, there are water marks from water there WAS water there. It's not a deal breaker, I will keep these rims on here until the bitter end. If it weren't for the puddle I would give these a 5. For reference, I got the 17x9's. I put on 285/70-17 tires. I have a 2006 Toyota 4Runner with a 3" Rough Country lift.
