Poison spyder hood lover works great to keep engine bay area cooler. . it even helped out my gas mileage by 2 to 3 miles per gallon . Looks awesome have gotten many compliments on this addition to my jeep. Very easy to install as long as you have the right tools. And if anybody has a tj they know the center console and floorbooard area gets hot this also helped out with this also. no regrets in buying this.thanks to poison spyder and 4 WHEEL Drive formaking and supplying a great product. THis is a great looking functional addition to your jeep.

Excellent quality. Well thought out instructions. Pick a good YouTube installation video as this helps. This will certainly help overheating in desert areas. It also looks great even from the driver's seat. Definitely hard to cut holes in a perfectly good hood, but once you get past that, the install is not difficult, just time consuming as there is no room for error. Get the right tools in advance. I would highly recommend this mod.

Great part and easy install! Template is spot on and easy to follow. The hardest thing was actually getting over the fear of cutting into your hood.

Looks great, reviews I read said it lowers the heat a lot, but I haven't driven enough yet to know. 4WP store near me kept my Jeep for 7 1/2 hours and gave it back the next day. Must be hard to install.

Installation began after the initial anxiety of cutting up a perfectly good hood subsided. It's an easy install with the provided instructions and template. The template was spot on, but the center hood support was not perfectly centered, which resulted in the need to cut through another layer of steel. There is a possibility that light from your headlights will emit light through the louvers onto your windshield. The sealed beam Sylvania Silverstars did this. I recently upgraded to some Hella H4 headlights and this issue went away. I know some people are reluctant to install this for fear that water will get into the engine compartment. A monsoon rain storm hit the day after I installed this and dowsed us with over an inch of rain. Zero issues. I have no regrets installing this.

Great looking product bought it for heat reduction and style. Keeps my jeeps temp down at low speeds. The black powder coat looks awesome.
