Reviews: Pavement Ends Sprint Tops

Had fairly low expectations due to the price but with the rainy season around the corner I needed a replacement for my leaky rampage stat. This top is a steal, it fits like a glove and the material is top notch quality. Provided you have the correct door surrounds and windshield header, this thing is sealed up great. Sprayed every seam and corner with the water hose and not a single drop inside. I definitely recommend installing it on a hot sunny day, it was a chore trying to get it to stretch in 60 degree partly cloudy weather. Overall I couldn't be happier for the price, the flip top is a nice feature too.

My original top ripped on my 07 wrangler so I decided to go with a bowless top instead of just replacing it. The top fights tighter and is also quitter when driving down the highway. It also stopped the leak I had on the original top right by both front doors. So far it as been great and was pretty simple to install. Just uses the original hardware and only took my friend and I about an hour from disassemble to having the new top on. Love the way it looks and has been simple to remove windows or kick open the front half on nice days.

It took me alone about 2:30 hours. The instructions are missing a couple of details like removing the springs, and the latch that holds the mid section of the stock soft top but over all are good. The material is high quality and fits great. Once it is fully installed it is very simple to put up and down. I will be updating later for more pros and cons.

Awesome product for the money spent. I haven't found a con yet, besides minor wind noise that you would obviously hear with any top. The sunrider option is great, and the shipping was fast!

Ordered this top on a Thursday and it was shipped the same day. Received it the following Monday. The top is really good quality. It's made by Bestop. Pavement Ends is their affordable brand. It doesn't come with all the hardware that you need. You need to have your old windshield header and door surrounds and the tailgate clips and brackets. It was fairly easy to put on. The only trouble I had was if you have the factory soft top frame you have to drill out the rivets that hold it to the rest of the frame. But that only took a few extra minutes. I also had to drill new holes in the header bar because the holes on the new bars for the flip top feature did not line up. They were not directly across from each other in the new bar. But the quality of the top is great. The different configurations are nice. I have two younger children so I can take off the side windows and leave on the back and let them have some shade but can still flip over the front to get full sun myself. Also the back zippers and straps can be a little tricky at first but I watched the Youtube Video for the same top but the Bestop version. They give some tricks that were helpful.

If you are like me and just like the hard top or no too at all, this might be a very good choice. I love that it fits very snug to the soundbar. orotects form rain and su when needed. Sun rider flu back option is great for the trail. The best thing about it is that when completely installed it takes just a few minutes and just your hands to be complelty to over and put away. So you can ride topless anytime you wish. You may consider using the "arches" included in the door surround kit top prevent water puddling up on the roop while parked on a rainy day. But even without those you can just start driving and water will just come right of. Very satisfied with this too

Ordered on a Wednesday, had it two days later. Instructions are clear even though it was fairly self explanatory just by laying it out and thinking for a second. Fits good and tight, windows are good and thick and zippers are much better than factory tops. Seems very air and water tight except for the huge storms with 80 mph winds we just the other day. Very happy with it and 4wheelparts.

This top is easy to install. Looks great. A little noisier than the original that came with the jeep but hey... it's a soft top, I didn't buy it for a quieter ride. The side and rear windows are easier to remove than the original top and I love having the bikini top option as part of the package.

Great look. Makes a 15 year old jeep look like new.

Kind of a bear to get on and I was putting it on in 95deg weather. Once on it did look good, true test will come with the first rain.

Love this top! I can have everything on, the windows off, the top folded back, or it completely off. Install was quick and easy. The canvas and vinyl windows aren't very thick but are sufficient. Well worth the $300 savings over the Bestop Trextop.
