Reviews: Odyssey Extreme Series Batteries

After considerable research, Odyssey Batteries Extreme Series were rated the best if also the most expensive. So far so good, I can definitely tell the difference from my factory Ford batteries (only a few months old). One thing to note however, these require 14.7v to properly charge. Most cheaper chargers use 14.4v even if they claim AGM compatibility. I purchased an Optimate 7 and it worked excellent to top them off before installing.

I bought this for a 2005 Ski-Doo adrenaline 800, great battery so far, but the terminal arrangement and size makes it a little harder to install

It's a battery, it works. Packaging sucked and was mostly destroyed but luckily the battery was fine.

Purchased for a 2012 JK to replace a yellow top that went belly up in 16 months. Time will tell how long the Odyssey lasts. Footprint depth of the Odyssey is approximately 1/4” narrower than the Optima and goes into the battery tray very easily, whereas they yellow top, particularly removing, is an SOB. Excellent service from 4WheelParts swapping out my mistakenly ordered incorrect model with terminal posts on the wrong side.

Put this in my 2002 Montero Sport about 2 Months ago. Works great as expected, A+

Compact and light weight. Like most here, I used this to drive a small motor on my sailboat.

Upgraded my 100A alternator to a 130A alternator, and installed this bad boy the same day. Starts and runs way better than I imagined. Lots of $$$ but I think its worth it if you are doing any off-roading on a regular basis.

This battery beats the heck out of other 31 class, the other review should be 1 star for dumb customer. Measure your stuff, quit expecting others to wipe yourself, shop at kmart.

Can bump my music without turning vehicle for a good while.......cranks truck very fast. Powerful!!

It's a battery , that can handle all my electrical needs and some... And it looks nice and built in the USA

I bought this battery as a secondary battery for a two battery system I installed in my 4runner. The battery is used to provide direct power to an ARB fridge and a dash camera. I am very pleased with the robust nature of the battery and purchased a second for my primary starter battery.

I was looking for a Battery for my Dual Battery setup in my Jeep and this battery is exactly what I wanted. It fit perfect in the Genesis Off-road Dual Battery kit and has the capacity to power my setup!

I liked the Odyssey 34 PC1500 that I purchased from 4WP for my '06 Jeep LJ so much that I bought a 25 PC1400 for my '16 Subaru Outback 11 months later. Both were perfect fits for my vehicles.
