Reviews: Odyssey Batteries Extreme Series, Group 65, 930 CCA, Top Post - 65-PC1750T

After considerable research, Odyssey Batteries Extreme Series were rated the best if also the most expensive. So far so good, I can definitely tell the difference from my factory Ford batteries (only a few months old). One thing to note however, these require 14.7v to properly charge. Most cheaper chargers use 14.4v even if they claim AGM compatibility. I purchased an Optimate 7 and it worked excellent to top them off before installing.

So far so good. I have put Odyssey batteries in 2 of my vehicles with one of them being a diesel. Highest cranking amp AGM I could find. They start my 05 5.9 Cummins in negative temps without issue or being plugged in.

Bought one for my 3/4 ton 4x4, after 3 other brands failed after less than 1 year. This one is going on 4 years, surviving Phoenix's 115+ degree summers, and sub zero winter hunting trips up north! Truck sits for a few days or a week between uses, and constant computer drain doesn't seem to affect this battery like it did other brands, truck always fires right up.
