Reviews: Nitto 275/55R-20 Tire, Dura Grappler - 205-150

This is indeed a very quiet and smooth-riding Tire I am very impressed and satisfied wet and dry traction is great breaking is also very good I also like the thread pattern and sidewall all around a great tire perfect tire for luxury SUVs.

Purchased these in 275/65 r20 for my hotshot truck. Average scale tickets on loads are over 32k combined weight. These tires handle and ride phenomenal, wear seems excellent compared to michelins that were previously on it. Very happy with the purchase for my hotshot setup on '21 F350 DRW. Will absolutely be installed a set on my next truck being built.

Best tire I ever had and I'm talking about Michelin good year Firestone pirelli you name it I've worn them out, so quiet amazingly quiet can't wait to put a set on my new F150 after I wear out this set of G Y's I hope they come in 20ies

We use our truck almost exclusively to tow a 34' enclosed car trailer, these tires are the best! They're so quiet, last forever and don't look ugly like some other highway tires.

I have 85K miles on these tiers and they were great. I do mostly highway miles and tow sem--frequently. This is probably the best highway tire I have found. If you need a road warrior - get this tire

I love these tires but didnt get the mileage warranty they promised me when i bought them new back in 2016 and only barely have 28,000 on them. They maybe have 4 or 5/32 left or said maybe 3 or 4 thousand miles left on the tires. I went to buy the same tires again, but i wont buy them because i felt like i should get the pro rated advertised at the time i bought them...i will buy a different brand now because of that.... its a good tire, just cant get any mileage out of these dura grappler. I will buy some next week soon as i find a different brand of tire that will give me more mileage than what i got.

I purchased these tires in 2012 for our 2005 GMC Yukon XL 2500. It is now 2018 and 50k + later. These tires are absolutely amazing on this truck which has the Autoride option. We have over 50k on this set and they look like they have 10k on them. They wear like IRON! They wear evenly!, They ride SMOOOOTH! They look beautiful!, They are predictable. I LOVE Them! I will replace this set with another set of Dura Grapplers and A new set for my Chevy 2500hd Duramax before the snow flies next winter. They are my forever tire. I commend Nitto on designing and manufacturing such a fine tire. My tire dealer said to me that he has NEVER had a defect on a Nitto tire! instantly SOLD. And I am a Made in the USA purist. You have to give credit where credit is due. Nitto's are legit. I feel safe with my family riding on them. Thank you.

This is my second set on a truck with 170,000 miles. love these tires, super quiet, smooth and great for towing. Wouldn't buy anything else.

Absolutely hands down the best overall tires I have ever purchased for my 2500 GMC Yukon xl. I cannot wait to buy a set for my Duramax next. They look great!, Handle great, They are great in the rain and the snow.. I have over 50kon them and they look like they can go another 20-30k no problem. I am in love with these tires! Thanks!

Very very impressed with this tire.Its so quiet,and so smooth.Balanced out with minimal weight.I was down to a couple of tires,a very good Cooper,and a Michelin.I knew I wanted a road tire,that I could trust for dirt road,fire road travel also.Nitto crushed it,with this tire.No one that rides in my truck,can believe how silent and smooth these tires are.They grip the concrete,asphalt and dirt/gravel equally well.Very grippe in wet weather,which we have had lately.I am very critical on anything now a days.I cannot stand to waste money,and these tires out ranked all other contenders.

At first I was a bit skeptical because these tires don't have a tread warranty. However I spent a ton of time researching and decided to get them because of the amazing reviews. I've only had these for about 200 miles but am already convinced I'll be buying another set. Before I even left the parking lot at the tire store, I could feel that these tires were much better than my last ones. I was worried about the ride since they are a stiff tire but the ride is so smooth and quiet. They got rid of noise I didn't know I had. Instead of listening to the radio at 13 now it's at 9. Also these tires corner super well, no mush. Was a little worried how they would handle off the pavement but took them onto a snowy trail uphill to get a Christmas tree today and they did just fine. The only con I can say so far is the tires are pretty heavy so you notice not being quite as fast off the line but that's to be expected (my tires are larger diameter than the last set). Overall very impressed and the tires look good. Time will tell if the tread holds up to the claims. Will update later.

On my second set 60,000 plus miles on the first set pulling a 38ft 5th wheel. Handled the cold,wet, and heat with no issues. I also have a set on a Honda Pilot with over 40,000 miles and they still look new. Compared to the BFG tires that came on the 2500 the Nittos are far superior,

QUITNESS is Unbelievable as is Ride Comfort ! I Did Pickup 2 Miles too the Gallon No Joke. Not good even in 1/2" Mud BUT these are a Highway Tire.I only run these Late Spring to just before the Snow flies. I have No doubt these will make 4 - 5 seasons of use. Very Happy Customer. Pros: BUY THESE TIRES Cons: off-road Capabilities Should not be a box for these Tires AS they are Highway Tires. Definitely Worth the Money !!

I pull a 16-18-24 box trailers full of furniture and boxes all over western North Carolina where I'm running 70 full or empty tires handles it all

Over 60,000 miles on the first set of Dura Grapplers, could not be happier. All the traction I need both on and off the road. 390,000 miles on this truck, went through the original Firestones, then 2 sets of Terra Grapplers, 3 sets of Dune Grapplers and now on my second set of Dura Grapplers. I can tell you they are by far the best. I look for them first for every tire I buy.

I have owned both the 325/60r18 and 305/70r18 and both these tires are excellent. Out of the 8 tires I have owned the maximum ballance weight was 1.5 ounces this is unmatched by even Michelin's. I drove my 325/60r18 for 25000 miles and tires only showed 5/32 wear. I drove 305/70r18 for 10000 before first rotation and tires still were at new tread depth. Extremely quiet on the highway and super smooth on road bumps. Yes 305/70r18 will fit on stock 2011 fx4 f350

When the time came to replace the tires on the Wife's Suburban, we were going to get Michelin Defender, LTX / MS, as we have always ran them on our cars, However Michelin could not get the tires we wanted.. After waiting 4 months, we decided to go with these Nitto (P 265/70R17") Dura Grappler's". They are GREAT! Extremely quiet, and a very soft ride compared to the no name tires that were on it when we bought it. Having a set of Trail Grapplers on my 2003 Dodge Truck, which have performed very well, I was familiar with the brand. We highly recommend these tires. The Wife is very happy with the ride and the look of the tires. We don't drive it off road nor during snow and ice cause we don't want anyone to hit it. That's what the Dodge truck is for. You will love these tires.. Wish they had them in a smaller size for our other cars!
