This radiator is very well made. Great replacement part. However, the install is a pain. The screws supplied do not fit. The old screws are too small to work. Two of the 6 are nearly impossible to get out. Getting past the screw issues, the radiator works great. I am very happy with thisproduct.

The Mishimoto radiator fit my 98 Jeep TJ perfectly, easy install and appears to keep it running a bit cooler.

I own a 2002 wrangler sport, manual with AC and 4.0L. Not exactly a "Direct Fit." Needs about 1/2" spacers to clear AC condenser due to the front fins not being flush welded. The bolts will not match thread count with Stock spring clips so it requires fender washers and nylon locknuts. This radiator does have cutouts for the AC unit but you will need a saw. You will need 3/8" plugs (2) for a manual jeep to fill the automatic trasmission holes, and a brass peccock to replace the drain cap. Owning a jeep I'm used to modifications so overall this is a good radiator.

It is a very fancy, well built radiator. My Jeep is my daily driver, I occasionally off road it, but had the extra cash around for this instead of another OEM one. Despite the somewhat negative reviews regarding leaks and warranty replacements that cost $50 to ship a new one to you, I have had mine installed for three months with no issues. I contacted Mishimoto to ask what those issues were about, they mentioned on Jeeps with AC, sometimes the metal to frame contacts were not remaining in place and cracking over time with severe off road use thus cracking the radiator itself. Their warranty is awesome, it even covers an accident that wasn't your fault, but you do have to pay shipping for the new one, I suppose this is fair given the ease of warranty. They told me new units ship (should ship so verify this with the seller prior to buying) rubber grommets in the six mounting locations to the frame. The catch is your original bolts are not long enough even though they say the original's will work...they won't. Even without the AC condenser in front of the radiator, you're way too short and have to come out of pocket for longer bolts which is the only reason I gave this four stars. For the price you pay, it should include the few cents worth of new hardware just in case. Again, Mishimoto said those grommets are only needed if you have the AC condenser in front of the radiator, so without it you can remove the grommets and mount it metal to frame. I used washers with a larger diameter to ensure the radiator can't move around either. Otherwise this thing looks and works just fine. No noticeable flow or temp difference, but it is all aluminum too which makes breakage less of an issue. Keep your engine flushed regularly!!!! Our 4.0's are notorious for rust build up. All in all, if you have the extra loot around it's a nice upgrade but I'm sure another OEM radiator would work just fine for another 140,000 miles.

Just installed. Looks like great workmanship BUT the holes for the AC condenser did not line up, had to slot the condenser brackets to make it work. Otherwise I'd give it five stars.
