Reviews: Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 Mud Terrain Tires

I have ran these tires on my CJ-5 for four years now and I have to say I have never had a tire that was this versatile and still has great street manners. I have ran these from gnarly areas in Moab to the top of Black Bear Pass and they grip like hell! On the highway however is where they shine as they are quiet as can be at 70mph! I can't say enough good things about these tires

These suckers BOG! Never been stuck but I’m not really trying to get stuck, that being said I’ve been in some nasty stuff. Highway noise isn’t bad but I have an upgraded audio system so I wouldn’t notice anyway. Put 31s on my 4Runner and with 18k on them I still have 60%ish tread.

Great for the price. Have this with the Red Rock 4x4 brace and holds up just as well as some of the others that charge upwards of $500!

These look really good on my 2000 Wrangler, and drive way better than I thought they would on the road.

They look good and ride very well. I went from an AT tire to this mud tire so yes the road noise increased but not too bad. Haven?t done off road yet so I?ll update if there are issues. Great price too compared to other brands.

1000 miles so far 200 of that off road 80 at 20 psi. Grip great. Traction is comparable to Cooper stt pro. (Prevous tire same vehicle) much quieter. Better street manors. Over all very happy long as they sell em I will do tenue to buy them

Purchased these tires for my 79 bronco, The previous warn out Wranglers would vibrate all the time even on smooth road conditions. After putting these tires on and driving down extremely washboard roads the difference is amazing. Flew through the spring time mud like it wasn't even there. The tires look great and sound exceptionally quite for a Mud tire, as well smooth on the pavement. Great value, with Mail in Rebate!!!!!!! Well Worth the purchase. I will buy another set when these wear out.. as well buy for my 97 F-350

I see the guy in Atlanta has a problem in snow... Snow... I see the trailer queen has a problem on pavement... Seriously? I personally like them a lot. From upstate NY they are good in snow (no not tripple peak rated) but good, handles ok on wet roads... And it great offroad gripping and not clogging up with mud.

Good traction from asphalt to gravel to soft dirt and mud. Amazing in the mud! Decent in snow, be careful on cross slopes, they tend to make you crab walk. Noise level is about the same as an aggressive all terrain.
