Very easy install. I would recommend removing the Spare. Had the fluid changed a few times, Diff cover kept leaking. Installed it myself, No more Leaks. Next up, Mag-Hytect Transmission Pan.

Seems to be very high quality and love the dipstick magnet, drain plug magnet, and no gasket. I think there would be better options if primary use is off road. Only wish mag hytec made one for the front 8.5 10 bolts

Easy to install. I really like all the features(magnet, drain/fill holes, o-ring seal, etc.). Also, it increased my oil capacity from ~2.5qts to 5.5qts!!! This is one great cover!

This cover is easy to install, 30 mins re and re, has its own MAC daddy gasket, holds more juice, rear end really hooks up now, gets bent every corner

Great cover!! Looks great while adding more oil, cooling fins, o-ring sealing, and dipstick. Magnetic feature is great to easily keep an eye on internals. My Dad asked for one for his Jeep as soon as he checked mine out. Better than I thought it would be.

Product fits and seals great. I used it to replace the stock part for better cooling and ease of use

maybe could of thought a little bit about the brake line brackets other than that its perfect

I've had a few different diff. cover and this one really works. You drain the gear oil without taking it off and check to see if you got any water in it with changing the oil, I definitely recommend it to anyone.

Fits awesome, doesn't leak, looks great, and cools all at the same time. Perfect for long towing and hard driving haha.

I put this on my 05 dodge 5.7 Hemi 4x4. Easy to install and doubles the fluid capacity. Learned the hard way after replacing the rearend for 2,600.00. This diff cover is AWESOME and has two magnets along with a dipstick. Looks bad as too!! Keeps fluid cool and berrings and gears happy!! Will put on every truck and suv I own in the future

I purchased these covers for replacement on my 2005 1/2 Dodge 2500 Diesel six speed. I have back trouble but insist on doing my own maintenance, having a lack of trust and being a penny pincher. Fluid level check is as easy as screwing out a dip stick. When fluid change is needed, unscrew drain plug and completely drain fluid due to extremely well designed location in the cover. I plan on changing the diff. fluids every 75,000 miles. This will make the routine fluid checks and eight fluid changes I plan to need simple enough for a child to do!

I installed the Mag-Hytec Differential cover on my 2008 GMC Sierra Crew 2500 4X4, with the Duramax Diesel and Allison 6 speed trans. I tow a 38' 5th wheel and know that the rear ends take a lot of abuse. Think about this point, your differential is the center point of all your Horsepower and torque. All of your power is concentrated to the ring an pinion while driving and generating heat, especially when towing. The heat that is built up is incredible in the stock configuration and the Mag Hytec cover allows for better cooling an heat dissipation. The cover is larger than the stock cover and holds almost twice the volume of oil which also aids in cooling effect. Things I like best about the Cover are: - Easy to insall, took about an hour - Easy to fill with fluid - Looks Great - Allows me to check the fluid level easily - Gives me peace of mind knowing that I don't have to worry about the diff anymore. GREAT PRODUCT, I'd recommend to anyone with a truck.

I know this is the most expensive, but you get what you pay for, this is a quality piece and will work for a very long time. Removal for gear inspection is a 1/2 hour job. Oil change can be done while engine oil is draining. Perfect!

I made the switch from the stock Diff Cover to the Ford 9.75 High Capacity Differential Cover, and this puppy not only looks great and aggressive, but offered more than double the fluid that the old stock Diff Cover could hold which means its running cooler and better. The Magnetic Dipstick and Drainer are a huge help when it comes to the little peices of meteal shavings that usually come off. zAnd the Allen Wrench Bolts apposed to the Crescent Wrench Bolts make it more hard for those theifs to possible steal it. Great buy at a descent price.
