Reviews: King Shocks OEM Performance Series Shock Kits

Appreciate the Portland store being able to get these to me early when the initial wait time was around 8 weeks. They are always great to work with, so good we can dismiss the broken windows and homeless everywhere when we go down there to get our orders, keep up the good work fella's and keep your head on a swivel.

Perfect fit for my stock 2010 Ford Raptor, they are much better then the OEM Fox shocks

Vast improvement over my Rubicon Express mono tube shocks. These shocks along with the lower control arm brackets vastly improved driving over street/dirt at speeds over 65 mph. Before my jeep would wander, have bump steer and would jolt me at every bump or dip. Now I have control during high speed driving and the feeling that the jeep absorbs and reacts to bumps versus the stiff feeling of my jeep bouncing up and then having to settle itself upon coming down. It's still stiff but now I'm in control. Great stable feeling while diving at speed on the local fire dipped dirt roads.

2011 Rubicon JKU .After a few trail rides my stock shocks blew and leaked all over so I started looking at bilsteins. Realizing this is a dual purpose vehicle i decided to change direction and look for adjustable shocks. I really wanted to keep the Jeep with a lower center of gravity and am not interested in going for a 3+ inch lift. Since i drive and trail this jeep i wanted adjustability as well. I have had Kings on vehicles before so it wasnt a stretch to go back. King has always been good to me with setups and they have are always willing to fix, adjust or help valve their product. I looked at reviews of other brands but in the end i went with Kings. The parts and build quality are unmatched. The ride is amazing, no more side to side flops or weird jeep bobbles going down the road and the jeep getting unsettled. These things are planted and you can click the ride stiff or soft easily up to 20x. Handles the mountain road braking bumps like they aren't even there and stays super planted. Bigger sutff? easy. The newer resi mounts are really nice as well..no more clamps, these are billet. You get what you pay for, and these are the best shock for the money, my .02

So far, these shocks are phenomenal! Great dampening on and off road. Smooth predictable ride. These were installed with the Rubicon Express 3.5" Short Arm Flex Kit. No weird deflection when hitting imperfections on the pavement and work great at moderate to high trail speeds. There is so much travel with these shocks, I will probably have to add limiting straps to keep from over extending the suspension. I will also never use these shocks to their full potential. Great Value considering these are a top of the line shocks. I elected to go with these w/out the adjustable dampening as I do not race my Jeep and do not do any extreme speeds or extreme rock crawling. I feel these are great shocks for an all around daily driver and off road weekend warrior
