shipped quick,breeze to install by myself

I used these as lift gate hinges for a custom truck cap I built from Mahogany marine plywood. The lift gate itself was 3/8 Lexan, and these were the perfect hinges to finish the job. Love the black, since it matches the truck.

One person project. Took about 30 minutes. I had an OEM one that was broken so I needed it replaced.

I was disapointed with the Hardware that came with this hinges. I'd by the Smittybuilt if I had to do over again.

They work great ! The old liners wouldn’t come out with tool ! I had to drill them out !

My son and I installed the pair on my 2004 TJ. Use two people! Easy install, Looks better than factory. Really impressed with the quality and finish of these hinges. These have a brass insert in the hinge area which should make them lase forever. Factory replacements from Jeep were quoted to me over $300.00!

I had bought kentrol door hinges for my cj (the polished ones) and was very pleased with them. So I went ahead and bought them for my YJ. The black powder coated stainless is very nice and smooth and they look great on the Jeep. No complaints.

I bought these to replace the rusty hinges on my 2000 tj. Removing the factory hinges was harder than installing the new ones. Glad they're stainless - so I won't have to deal with that again. I've had them on for over a year through a PA winter with no problems.

Very quality piece

Took less than an hour to install by myself, but would have been quicker with an extra set of hands. They look a lot nicer and seem much stronger than the factory pieces, and the pair cost less than a single replacement part from the dealership.
