Didn't know such a thing existed. Saw it in action first hand at Rausch Creek Offroad Park. It provides a huge advantage for use of a Hi-Lift in getting a wheel off the ground to put rocks under to get an offroad vehicle freed if stuck on a trail. I don't own one yet myself, but I'm about ready to purchase one. It's a no-brainer for anyone that has a Hi-Lift and wants to improve it's capability, and get yourself, or someone else unstuck on a trail.
I like these make it easier to Jack up your vehicle
Another great hi-lift product. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but know it will be handy when/if needed.
Actually works pretty good and fits both of my keep rims from Rhino and Fuel. Very sturdy built.
Really well made, seriously hefty and finished to be functional!! Hi-Lift should offer an optional piece with straps about 1” to 1 1/2” longer. On a CJ7 with 15” x 10” Wagon Spoke wheels, with a deeper offset, the padded anchor plate just barely makes it to a suitable position for proper function... and that’s when you place the hooks in the upper spoke openings. Not sure it’d work well on a deep, 17” x 10” wheel???
Got this for my birthday from my girlfriend, i picked it out lol. got it home and didn't fit my wheels so i'm going to have to get new ones, darn. i did use it a few weeks later to help get out a jeep that broke threw some ice and sunk its 31 inch tires on one side, hooked up to the front, threw some logs underneath the tires and winched it out. Wouldn't have been able to do it without it. i can see this being helpful when rock crawling aswell. only thing i would change is it uses a bolt to hold it onto the jack, a quick release system would be nice(like a hitch pin)
This is the fastest way to get out of a jam on the trail with a high lift jack. Sure you can lift the whole frame of the truck, but it is much, much faster to lift one wheel a little bit an kick a rock under it. Wish I had bought this years ago.
Make sure it fits your wheels before you buy it. You'll need it one day.
When I first started Rock Crawling, I saw many use jacks alone, and winch rigs over stuff, bending and breaking components. This jacks the wheel up so you can put rocks under it and get out with less damage. A great invention and highly recommended.
Great addition to my off-road toolbox. Well made and sturdy component. The straps could be an inch or two longer to make hook-up on my 17" Pro-Comp wheels an easier task, but they work.
I would have given 5 stars if it had 1/8 inch more inside clearance to fit my generic (non-HiLift brand) Ranch Jack; I had to grind a little paint for it to fit on & slide properly. Otherwise, VERY heavy duty & quality! If I only use it once, it will have paid for itself twice over. Just buy it.
