This jack has been useful since day 1 helping with so many different tasks. I suggest having it shipped to your house if you want it when needed. Original review was edited due to the truth being unacceptable.

Solid, multipurpose piece of equipment whose reputation precedes it! These things have been around forever for a reason - there's nothing I can tell you in a review that you don't already know. Only complaint - I wish the coating was bit more durable.

Why didn't I buy one sooner?

This jack has many uses and I like a tool that does more than one job so this is always in my truck.

I use my jack to lift and work on my 71 f100 because it is hard to find a jack That is tall enough. I like the color it matches my paint Scheme.

I like the full 5000# clamping force for u-joints out on the trail.

This 60" High-Lift is a super product to say the least. You cannot possibly obtain a bettter overall value for the capital outlay. The construction is superb, the overall design is extremely well thought out and well-executed, the engineering is obviously equal to the task, as there are few, if any improvements that come to mind, and the folks that designed/engineered this product knew their application(s) well, and had listened to the off-road /racing public and what they wanted in a quality off-road/emergency jack, tool. The product quality is above and beyond what I had expected, and the durability of this piece is exceptional. EVERYTHING IS DESIGNED/BUILT SUPER TOUGH for the most demanding applications!!! GREAT PRODUCT. None Better Out There.

I believe the best part of this Hi-Lift Jack purchase is the fact that I received it UPS in one(1) day!! The price was right and the Extreme Hi-Lift Jack is excellent! Great Experience.

I am EXTREMELY pleased with this Jack. Although I havn't had to use it yet, the craftsmanship and appearance of this product is excellent. I looked at some cheaper ones offered at local hardware stores and I would not trust them as they look brittle and fragile. I do alot of camping and backpacking and find myself often in rocky or muddy situations. I have been stuck before without a winch or jack. And now I feel more confident that I can get out of hairy situations if I have to. You will need some extra recovery gear if using this Jack to winch out of areas. But the same company sells a great line of products to use with this Jack. I thought I might have buyers remorse about paying the extra cash for this Jack, not true. This Jack might be one of the neatest looking and versatile things that I have bought. I mount mine on my roof rack but could see a problem mounting this if you don't have a roof rack. Bumper or spare tire mounts are possililites, but it's too big to put inside. Buy one today and enjoy!

The Hi lift jack is a great versatile jack. I've used Hi lift jacks around the house for yard work and on the trail.I've done everything from using it to help lift my truck up to change my tire or using it as a retraction tool when stuck. I love the product accessories like the roof rack mounts for the jack and the wider base plate so the jack can't sink into the ground.

I use my Hi-lift jack on my H3 hummer and my M101A2 Military Camping trailer. Great add and sence of security when your off the beaten road camping and have a flat for need to wench your self out.

got me out of trouble 2nd day after i bought it. easy to use and extremely tough.

The Hi-Lift X-Treme is the only off-road jack I even considered when I bought my truck, a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. With the height of my truck, a standard scissor jack wasn't going to cut it, and with the Jack-Mate attachment, the Hi-Lift X-Treme can be used for so much more than just raising the vehicle to change a tire. At 60", it can be a bit cumbersome, but it is well worth the space it takes up.

My Hi-Lift resides in the back of my truck and this is why I chose the X-Treme. My old 48" had started to rust after many years of use and was to short for my lifted Tacoma. I use the jack instead of purchasing a heavy/spendy winch. I have also used the Hi-Lift to relevel my deck on my house! This is not just for offroad use!

Very handy for many uses- clamping, spreading, lifting, winching. Super durable, but comes at a price of Heavy weight- well worth it tho. Very satisfied with this product.
