Reviews: Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Tires

I just got 4 of them for my 1997 jeep wrangler sport TJ. They do not make hardly any noise going down the road but the have the tred when you want to off road. Over all a great tire for the price

I bought these a few months ago and have been very impressed. Although I bought them primarily for city and offroad use, they are pretty quiet on the interstate given their size. They have performed great offroad with mud and sand/rock. Significantly cheaper than the tires I was looking at and perform MUCH better than my BFG All Terrains did.

Installed on my 99 XJ with over 50k miles on the tires 2k off road still have 8/32 tread left from factory 18/32. Quiet at highway speed and great performance in deep snow 3' and in mud or river crossings. The rubber compound keeps traction in cold temps. I have used down to -30F in up state NY with no issues. Driven cross country 3x coast to coast with no issues from the frozen NE to the hot 114F SW states and river crossings. Sidewall lugs help protect against curbs and off-road hazards. I have never gotten stuck with these tires.

I PRIMARILY USE THESE FOR GETTING AROUND IN THE SNOW AND UP UNTIL NOW WAS SLIPPING AND SLIDING PUSHING THAT HEAVY WET SNOW WHEN PLOWING. NOT NOW THOUGH. THESE TIRES ROCK. REMINDS ME OF THE OLD GOOD/YEAR X/GRIP IF YOU ARE OLD ENOUGH TO REMEMBER THAT. THESE DURATRACS HOWEVER ARE IN MY OPINION BETTER THAN THEM. PROBABLY NOT GOOD FOR THE SUMMER RUNNING AS THE COMPOUND IS SOFT WHICH GIVES THEM THEIR TRACTION. SO IT IS HIGHLY ADVISABLE TO TAKE THEM OFF IN SPRING. I MYSELF HAVE 2 SETS OF WHEELS AND WILL CHANGE IN SPRING...

these tires have 45000 miles on them and have plenty of tread to get me to 50000 miles.They have worn so evenly its unheard of on a f150 4x4

Good quality, durable, and gets excellent traction in most conditions. And 4wp always sells the tires at a better deal than I have been able to find elsewhere. Shipping was exceptionally fast and always arrives in good condition. The tires these replaced were also Duratrac tires. Had K02's prior and they didn't handle as well as I would've liked in rainy conditions on the road, where as the Duratrac maintains excellent traction both on and offroad.

I ordered these tires to upgrade my Jeep and they look great. The shipment was quick. I also found a cheaper price online from another site, but I just called 4wd and they quickly matched the price hassle free.

Great tires for snow and mud. Never been stuck with these!

This is our third set of Duratracs in this size. We got great high miles of 70,000. Sticky enough for Moab. We never pinched a sidewall in Colorado mountains. These tires are far better in ice and snow road conditions than I expected. For an all-purpose need, these offer an excellent balance for daily driving and 'wheeling.

Only had them for about 600 miles but they are a great aggressive all terrain tire. Great traction off road. A little hum on the highway but that is to be expected

These tires were delivered very fast. Very pleased with them. They look great on my truck and preform great also. Whenever I need new tires again I'm sure I'll be getting the same set.

I’ve had the KO2’s and these before. These are more aggressive for snow and mud and actually quieter and a smoother ride. They seem to last longer and wear better also. Last set went 42,000 miles with me rotating every other oil change.

Second set of these tires and probably the only tire I’ll buy

they are make very little noise on the road. They are alot more aggressive than they look in the pictures. I am very happy with them. I bought 5 sence the price is so great!! Thanks 4WD!!!!
