This is a direct bolt in axle. Very easy to do, will need a new trackbar and move sway bar back. I got an Adam's1350 driveshaft had 1.5" cut off and was perfect. Couldn't be happier!!!!

Reused my Teraflex big brakes, everything bolts in exactly as described. Using oversized track bar touches at full sqaut, but need to fine tune. This axle works really well in my 08 jk. No complaints.

You must use your old brake backing plates. I ordered a “replacement kit” as I wanted everything fresh (old plate was rusted and crappy). The kit G2 and 4WP referred me to was incorrect and cost me a weekend in the mountains. Awesome axle though.

Has held up well with sustained abuse. Still uses gasket but added rt Vince last oil change. Able to remove plate without difficulty. Best to use oil pump given angle of plate. According to Currie, uses 2.5 qts and 30ft/lb torque on plate bolts.
