Reviews: Fab Fours Rock Sliders

I’m not sure why Jeep doesn’t do a rock slider step from the factory. The Fab Fours slider steps a great on my Mojave with 35’s, they have a streamlined look while at the same time providing a nice step up.

Great quality product from Fab Fours. First off, Fab Fours really does a great job in protecting their product during shipping. Arrived in perfect condition. The rock sliders really dress up the Jeep and take away the view of the pinch weld. Haven't tested the durability yet but hopefully they protect the body. Only complaint is that my Jeep didn't come with the factory rock sliders, therefore, I didn't have some of the hardware that was to be reused in installing these rock sliders. Fab Fours should go ahead and include all hardware necessary. Luckily I already had a couple of correct size bolts in order to finish the job.

Solid USA made product, good welds, good hardware. Frame mount bracket holes were too small for JLUR oem frame bolts. Tapped holes with step drill bit. Contacted Fab Fours to let them know to update for future production. Highly recommend.

As a brand new JL owner who lives on a gravel road, I quickly decided these had to be the first modification to my Jeep! I was getting rock scratches on my doors and hinges but since installing these not a single rock has made it to a painted surface! The quality is amazing, extremely durable, and they were shipped to my home quickly. Installation was a bit harder than expected but that had everything to do with Jeep’s bolts and not this product. It’s definitely possible to install at home with an extra set of hands, a jack of some kind, and some major muscle to break the frame bolts loose. Overall I’m extremely pleased. Aesthetically they flow with the stock fenders and the quality is top notch for off road use as well as daily driving.

For the JL jeep 4 doors that do not have the factory sliders or steps; you will need to buy floor pan bolts- 3 for each side. The stock jeep doesn’t have floor pan bolts and They are not included with the other nuts/bolts in the box from Fab Fours. You need the floor pan bolts each side to properly mount the tube sliders.

Purchased these and was all excited until installation. Those of us without a factory set allready on have no bolts for the bottom of the cab. A trip to jeep and I had seven of the eight needed. Got everything on and bam the second surprise, there are two bolds painted the same as cab under the front doors that must come off not on instructions, no bigge. So now I get them all snugged up and find out im missing two bolts,washers, and accompanying nuts. Swore I did the layout in the beginning...
