Reviews: Fab Fours Premium Rear Bumpers

The bumper is well designed and fabricated. The designer picked up on the detail that the OE reverse are mirror images and not copies, they provided sufficient access for the fasteners, the mounting to the vehicle frame is simple and straight forward. The installation was straight forward and simple. I used a floor jack to get the bumper aligned and was able to get the job completed without any additional help. The finish is very good with the exception that the welder did not clean up the minimal weld splatter and neither did the painter. This is really a minimal issue but so is the effort to clean it up before painting. I recommend this very attractive and solid design.

the bumper fit perfectly the only issue was the steel was so thick the spare tire plastic cover piece and the trailer electric hookup had to be modified to fit.

I purchased the Fab Four bumper a few years back, and I love it the added steps on the sides is a huge upgrade. The fit and finish are perfect. Last year I was struck by a careless driver who had lost control on black ice and rear ended me at 45 mph. It was a 6k pound SUV so needless to say the hit was hard. It lifted the back of my 2500HD and pushed me off the roadway. Upon inspection of the rear of my truck there was minimal damage to the bed and tailgate. The bumper had taken most of the impact. The SUV that struck me was a total and my truck including paint was only damaged to the tune of 4k. ( Bed side, tailgate, taillight and paint).. I highly recommend this bumper and other Fab Four products...Thanks T3

Had to shim a little bit to get it to be "level" under each tail light, but it looks good and is solid bumper. Definitely need to rethink the license plate light!!!

The install went pretty easy. My stock bumper was bent so I took off the top plastic piece. And removed a few torx bolts. I didn’t have to lift the bed. The bumper is heavy and built nicely.

Very well made, 4 point mount for license plate, Tag lights fit well, holes for backup sensors and factory trailer hookup pops right in.

Great product! fantastic service will use again!! Bumper is easy to install but recommend having someone to help!

-Pros: Great bumper, it was a very easy install. Welds looks great on it, it is alot heavier than the stock bumper as expected. Id recommended 2 people forbthe install. Fitment is really good and have some room for adjustment, so you can get the exact look you want. Big plus, it comes with all new hardware, so you do not have to swap anything from the old bumper. Very happy with the bumper. -Cons: the only con i have is that there are no attachment points to ziptie the wire harness fornthe tail lights and back up camera, but that is a very easy fix and not a big deal to me. Just wanted to mention.
