Reviews: Extang Trifecta Tonneau Cover

No problems installing. There are some gaps where the Tacoma's factory rails could use some sealing. But, no leaks so far and it's nothing some weather stripping wouldn't fix if it did start.

Ordered and bought it online through 4wheel autoparts website and direct to trifecta. No middle man so price was actually a little cheaper than ordering through local 4wheel auto parts store. Already saving gas and it looks great!

I purchased this cover as an inexpensive alternative to a canopy. The reviews I read were all positive but I was worried as I bought it sight unseen. I am extremely happy with it. [...] installation was under 20 minutes. I have a Tacoma short box and live in the Pacific NW; it does a great job at keep my things dry (there is only some leakage around the side rails which was expected). The tri-fold it much nicer than roll-up versions I have seen. I would strongly recommend this cover.

This seems to be a great tonneau cover. It only took a few minutes to install and is very easy to take off by my self. Fits good to the truck and does not move around.

This cover goes on and comes off in minuets with just one person. There is no track so the bedrails are left uncluttered. Best cover I have ever owned.

I would have never believed you could put something on a truck bed so quick that is so secure. The tri-fold function is awesome. Pair it with the drop in bed rug, but dont fasten the rug down so you can take it in and out easy. This is the perfect match if you travel and need clean storage. If you need your truck to be a truck, pull the rug out and flip the cover forward. It's a big Win/Win.

I went in expecting to buy a roll-up cover. The salesman explained the benefits of the Trifecta over roll-ups and I decided to buy the Trifecta. I couldn't be happier. I bought this to keep items dry in my truck bed, but also needed a cover that would still let me tow my 5th wheel. This cover achieves both of my objectives. The cover is extremely easy to remove for when I tow. It doesn't hurt that it helped my milage also. I highly recommend this product.

I have owned this product for over a month, and have used it on my 2005 Ram 3500 for several short trips and one 2000 mile trip. Can't say enough good about this cover. It installs quick, comes off easily when I need it to, and kept out the rain I hit on my long trip. I needed some corner gaskets to seal the front completely, [...] Skip the hardware/track/velcro covers. The extra cost for the Trifecta is well worth it.

First, it was easy to install and if removed, easy to reinstall. I've wanted a cover for years and after much research I went for the Trifecta. It's a very good design and the only thing that I can't comment on is the durability. I can see where the snaps that hold the cover open will be eaten up by the sun and will likely need to be replaced eventually. And of course the cover itself. How long will it last. The cover has a good warranty so we will see. Also, I added a pop-n-lock tailgate lock and now my bed is almost tamper proof.

I got the cover to protect stuff I could keep out back, and travel. It worked. When I loaded a chair, or blocks, or tree limbs, the cover accomodated by folding up. I have had it for about 6 weeks, and 2000 miles, around New Mexico and Colorado. I choose not to comment on durability. JAB

Works great, took minutes to install by myself with no tools. Looks good on truck.

Nice and easy to install with a lifetime warranty. Functional and light weight. Needs some typ of lock system because it is so easy to remove. My friend is now thinking about getting rid of his tonneau cover and gettint a Trifecta.

Use to just cover trk bed and things carried in bed

It helps with keeping our bags secured when we travel, especially with three kids. very easy to install.

this tonneau cover is really easy to install less them 5min. and the best part is that you can take off in less them 5min to have the bed all way open, ofcourse help save gas.
