Reviews: Daystar Spring And Shackle Bushing

Purchased to go along with the Daystar 1.25" lift shackles (which do not come with bushings, but do come with bolts). Went all-Daystar on the rear shackles, plan on doing same on front shackles. So far, really good stuff.

I used these when replacing the leaf springs in my CJ5. I have used aftermarket bushings in years past and thought it was common to have to modify them slightly to make them work. Not so with these! I was happy to see that these bushings slipped right in with no effort, not too loose and not too tight. Very noticeable improvement in the handling department, my Jeep never cornered this good before! Of course off road these things are tough enough to take the abuse. Very happy I went with these.

It was hard to find bushings for my truck. The age of the lift was the problem. the springs were fine I just wanted to upgrade and that is where I got myself in a jam looking for parts. Daystar had them and they work great!

Can't speak about the durability of the bushings, but they fit nice and look pretty!

Overall the product is great. Easy installation. Tips for removing the old bushings would be very helpful. Having a wide variety of tools as I have helped tremendously. However a driveway diy might struggle with removal of old sleeve bushings and realignment of eye bolts at reassembly.

I used these for a YJ spring swap on my CJ7. The product seems to be working well and I had no issues getting it installed. I will be buying another set for the front end when i get all other pieces ordered.
