Reviews: Daystar Hood Vents

This is a cool item to add onto your yj. Really adds an aggressive look. Bought mine last year.they haven't faded in the Alabama sun and heat. But the right side has broken it's screw mount. Which I just drilled through and put machine screws with nuts.

Overall it did install easy, but the box states "installs in minutes!" Which is pretty much not true! The template screw holes did not match up with the vent screw holes so some slight modification had to be done. Took about 3-4 hours! But when all is said and done this is a great product! I highly recommend it! Brought my engine temp down about 10 degrees.

These Hood Vents pull heat from the under hood area pretty good and keep things cooler in the desert. The template provided was easy to use and allowed for a good installation. It is nice to keep that heat out of the engine bay!
