Hitch quality is great. The drill guide insert is a great idea and made it much easier to drill the bed holes. Get the hitch, just learn from my mistakes, read this and get the right tools. Install is relatively easy, once you collect the right tools. The "list of needed tools" on the install instructions is incorrect. Which is irritating as $#!+ when you're under the truck with the spare dropped and exhaust hanging. In the tools needed section it says you need a 15/16" socket. YOU ACTUALLY NEED A 1-1/8" WRENCH, a universal joint, and a 1-1/8" socket to make it easy. These 5th gen ram beds have supports that do not allow you to just use a socket, you need a universal joint. The wrench makes it easier on the diesels to get around the DEF lines. Do not listen to the instructions and only have 15/16" on hand like I did, because you will have to pull the thing back down, put everything back together, drive two towns over, then start all over again. Extremely irritating on Curt's part, but I'll hand it to them that this is an extremely nice hitch and pretty significantly easier to install than a B&W turnover ball. 4 Wheel's delivery was insanely fast so can't complain about that either. All in all, I'd give 4 Wheel 5 stars, Function of the hitch 5 stars, Fit and Finish 5 Stars, but quality control on instructions gets 1 star.
