Reviews: Curt Manufacturing Echo Mobile Brake Controllers

Saved a trip for me when my tow vehicle with a regular controller broke down. I was able to use one of these on a friend's Jeep equipped with a four wire flat connector by adding an adapter to this unit's 7 pin input. My teardrop trailer has a solar powered group 31 in it which will supply power to this unit so I didn't need to run an extra power wire to it. Drove almost 2000 miles including a couple hundred off-road without an issue. Once the braking power is set through a smart phone, it will store the last setting so you don't need to have the phone connected all the time unless you want to be able to manually activate the Curt unit. I used ZIP ties to mount it onto the frame of my trailer with about 5 feet of wire to the Jeep's 4 flat connector.
