Just what I needed to refresh the jeep's shift linkage

Had to use a small c-clamp to install the bushings.

This inexpensive kit was made from quality materials and fit factory parts. The kit solved the annoying rattle while taking off as the linkage hit the tub on my TJ. The green bushing that came with it was almost impossible to install, but a very small amount of filing fixed that. Shipping was fast!

The kit itself is complete to solve the dreaded rattle at idle. I did not change the two linkage bearings (black) or use the self taping screws that came with the kit. The stock 10mm bolts came out just fine so I reused them and the black bushings were fine on the linkage so I reused them too. I kept the new parts in case I need them somewhere down the road. When removing the torque shaft from the transmission mount, the green bushing came out with the shaft. For the life of me I could not get the new green bushing to snap into the trans bracket. I tried many tricks to no avail. When you reinstall the torque shaft into the green bushing there is no way it is going to fall out so I am not worried about it. The rest of the kit (bronze bushing and rubber components) seal the bronze bushing well. There is a spring in the rubber boot that applies pressure to the torque shaft. Check that 4wd hi and low work and enjoy no more rattles.

Nice kit, everything fits properly and no more rattle! The one thing I didn't care for were the sheet metal screws to replace the original machine thread ones.
