Fits perfect, and I was surprised how much noise a torn boot lets int the cabin. Much quieter now (I also replaced the boot below this that was torn as well. Both contributed to the change in noise level)
Absolutely great item. Made all the difference in the shift lever movement. Tightened it up, just like new again. Probably replace it every few years, just to keep the shifting mechanism tight.
1986 CJ 7 6cyl, Dana 300, 5 speed. 179K miles. Original boot was torn, allowing road and engine heat into cabin. Sloppy shifts, and noise also. This boot fit perfectly, was installed in ~5 minutes. I recommend using a flashlight if you install it at night in the garage. Solved all my problems, looks great, and wicked cheap!
This seems to be more flexible then the previous one I bought, hopefully it will last longer before cracking since the quality seems to have been improved.
Perfect fitting replacement for a original torn boot.
Fits just like the factory boot that I replaced.

Easy to install. Worked as a good replacement at a good price.
This boot is a direct replacement to the factory. Having used a few on T150s it seemed the rubber was always hard and tore prematurely. I have tried to boil it, soak it in oil and had no luck. The fix for this is to invert it. I am attaching an image on how it should look. Install it like this and you will get years of use out of it.
