Reviews: Crown Automotive Parking Brake Cables

Crown has a winner here. The cable is 33.5" OAL. My original 1976 CJ5 driver side emergency brake cable measured 32" OAL. The original was always too tight may be because of a 2.5" lift not sure. It had actually pulled out of the retaining clip at the frame end of the cable. The new cable, because of the longer length, fits better than original. Thank you 4WD Hardware for your excellent support prior to my purchase. And for the great free shipping promotion deal I got with it.

Fit my 78 CJ with 11 drums perfect. If you have the 10’s then this may not fit.

These cable were spot on both price and manufacturing. Better than the stock OEM. Only improvement would be a set of instructions.
