Replaced cheap shifter knob that came on Jeep when I bought it. The old knob had plastic internal threads and would never stay tight. Shif pattern emblem was not clear. The Crown knob is made extremely well with metal threads and the emblem looks great

OEM part broke due to years of use. This part feels firmer and easier to use. Uses threaded metal insert not plastic. This part screws right onto my 1996 Jeep Cherokee 5 speed shifter without any issues, except that I had to use a spacer and thread lock to have it stop at the correct place.

Works great, super replacement for worn-out original. Looks like the original part, though there is some plastic "flashing" on it keeping it from being fully smooth, but it is a small price to pay for getting original looking parts.

no details on putting shift pattern in knob. very warm water, then gently slip in to center is nerv racking.. otherwise very Nice ty
