great product, good quality. deceiving video showing a couple ladies easily folding the back up for a open trail ride, yea right. probably a 20 minute job putting back together. the written instructions are horrible, just use you tube

Review Time - Is it worth it?

So first and foremost, I am the person who researches EVERYTHING, and rarely leaves a review. At the time, the top I wanted was out of stock, so I looked at the next best thing. I stumbled upon this top and went for it. I actually gave the Trail Armor top, itself, 3 stars, since this is their version 1 top, and they need to tweak some things to gain those two stars. The 4 star review is because their customer service exceeds standards, which made up for it in the long run. Install: Instructions suck, but once you get the top together, it's all one piece and you'll be like "well that's kind of easy then". Switching from hardtop to soft-top is a breeze; no crazy brackets or anything; just the whole top is one unit, aside from the rear windows. Fitment: I get they want to keep it tight fit, but they could have used maybe slightly more material. Some velcro areas don't stretch over the edge, especially the rear glass (I just gave up after that), but it never leaked. Sound: It's a soft top. It's loud in there...I think mine contributes mainly to the fact I have a light bar, so it's louder than it would be, but wind noise is very present. Practicality: The convertible side is extremely easy to flip back, and it doesn't look like the ones you see driving down the road where it looks like someone's top flew back involuntarily on the highway; it sits flat and looks proper. The full "off" option is great, but plan to spend 20-30 minutes putting it back on. It takes about 10 minutes to fully prep it to have the roof off. Durability: Here's the cons - the bracket screws that hold on the convertible piece have been showing signs of rust. They need to update the strap that holds the convertible piece down, as the metal in that bracket has protruded through the nylon. It also will find its way unlatched if you don't pay attention to it. Rear window zipper has split at the beginning, which made it very tough to zipper up. Warranty: Lifetime warranty, and they mean it. Like I said above, I needed the little 4" strap that holds down the convertible, and I needed a new back window due to the zipper breaking. Bushwacker effortlessly sent me a COMPLETE new top, after I sent them pictures of the defects. If that's not amazing customer service, then I don't know what is!!
