Easy on the budget and easy to install

Very easy to install at an excellent price. Mostly purchased to be used as a step for my two small kids to get in and out of the Jeep, but now that I have my Jeep lifted I use them all the time as well. Solid feel, nice looking powder coat. Not sure on the overall durability as I have not offroaded the Jeep since installation but they have been on for 3 months with no issues from road debris, etc.

Great product, very rigid.

These fit perfect & bolted on in about 15 minutes each side. That's getting tools out & all!! I installed these by myself.

Rugged steel armor

This option requires no drilling of your Tub/Body and no drilling of your Frame, as compared to other rock guards. I plan to avoid rocks, but the heavy duty steel in these Side Guards will protect my tub from rock hits. As my LJ is my daily driver, I plan to do moderate off-roading. The Guards are 30 pounds of steel each.

One hour modification

Actually it was probably under 1 hour to install. I'd say by far the easiest modification I've ever added to any of my jeeps for about 48 years of wheeling. Absolutely everything lined right up and fit nicely.

Body armour rock crawler side steps JT

Very durable product. Challenging install but manageable with standard tools and without a lift in driveway. Only critique is product sticks passed fender flares more than stock steps.

Look Great and Very Sturdy

Got yesterday and put on in just over an hour, just a little alignment/fitment issue with one of the rear driver side bolt holes (operator error I'm sure) they are very sturdy and do look great I am using for a step (for the wife) more than a slider on my 21 Gladiator

Great product

This is a great product for the money. The design provides ample protection without any sheet metal attachments. Unfortunately 4 wheel parts can't touch internet prices which range from $204.00 to $211.00

Good looks and function

Uses 3 existing body mount bolts on passenger and drivers side. Since I didn't have a buddy to hold the guards up, I used a floor jack to lift it into place so I could get the bolts started. No drilling, a key point for my 05 LJ Rubicon Sahara limitied edition. The textured powder coat finish looks great. The squeaking was easily fixed by adding some washers in between the lower body mount and the guards to create a small gap in between the body and the guard. The contact with the body is what caused the squeaking. I used 1 1/4" OD x 1/2" ID x 1/16" thk galvanized washers to shim the guard away from the body. I also went through the trouble of using these washers to make the guards parallel with the bottom edge of the body. (note: this is how they reccomend eliminating any squeaking from the guards IF it happens)

Well built product

The side guards have excellent fit and finish. They seem to be very heavy duty. They included all hardware, and were easy to install. They not only protect the body, but really dress up the looks of my JK 2-dr.

Easy install and nice looking

I am not huge into off road abuse of my jeep (yea, I guess I am a yuppy) but these are easy to install and look nice on my jeep. Nice powder coating and they look like they would hold up well if you were to truely use them for rock protection.

Good as a step and light protection

Not a hardcore rock slider. The way it mounts to the Jeep would catch if you used it as a “slider.” However as a step and light protection for minor hits it should do fine. I had to touch up a couple spots where the powdercoat was scratched as well. Overall not bad, but for another $150 you could have a great American made rock slider that’ll be able to protect your Jeep from much more abuse.
