Simply the best

Just purchased my second set for our SUV. First set was up to 76k miles and still had some life left. Replaced them just for an upcoming NW roardtrip. Great traction on highway, AZ trails, and even sandy Mexican beaches! Will always replace with this same model as long as they keep offering them.

goodtire buy. its on my geo tracker 4wd

my 4wd tracker loves this tire we visit old gold mines in az.up steep hills and over rocks everywere..my tire pressure 40-44psi. if you run low air pressure you will damage the tire side walls.drive slow allow your springs and shocks to work for you.I also pull the tracker with a motor home and stay with the same tire pressure on the tracker.soft beach sand may require less tire pressure..

I love these tires!!

These tires are awesome they made my 2001 Tacoma drive like new again, i usually go with bargain tires and they do not last. These are quality tires, these are my first Bf tires and i am a customer for life nothing but awesome. So far i put about 13 k on my tires and still show no sign of wear and have not needed a rebalance. These tires are smooth at 90 mph and the wet traccion is great. And also after about 6 months of use the air pressure hasnt dropped a single PSI!! I still check it about once a month with my digital air pressure tool and the air just holds.

Best Tires Ever!

This is the third set of BF Goodrich Long Trail tires I have purchased. Two sets went on a Toyota Highlander and the third set went on a Toyota Tacoma. I rotate and balance the wheels every 5 to 6 thousand miles and keep the air pressure where it should be. I will be replacing the tires on my 06 Wrangler and Long Trails are going on the Jeep! Excellent tires.

Best tires out there

These have got to be the best tire out there. I have still got the one's that were put on my 2003 1500 4x4 in 2009 and I have almost 75000 miles on them and they still have over 2/32 of tread left on them.

I will buy this again

I have these tires on my 2004 Sante Fe and had driven over 100,000 miles before I replaced them. I do drive all highway without a lot of braking; so that might have helped. My new tires now have 62,000 miles and still have a great amount of tread.

Good durabilty and comfort

After 36,000 miles, my Long Trail tires are still in good shape. They ride very well and have given more mileage than advertised. I'll buy them every time and recommend them for all SUV types.

Best Tire ever owned

My BFG LT tires were OEM and at 50K, I replaced them prior to a long road trip. Now at 102K I purchased my second set. (3 set on the truck) This is a safe tire in wet and dry conditions, and handles smoothly. It has a quiet ride and looks good also. I convinced my neighbor about these tires and he purchased a set. He could not believe how much better his truck rode. He also was impressed with the price savings. Do your homework and research the specs. You will see that BFG tires are worth the money. Since I am mainly a city driver with a long trip or two during the year, I did not get the 60K mileage. With the Florida heat, tires do not last as long and I will not drive them bald either. I stop just before the wear bar. At 107K, with my 3 set of tires, took a 7 day 1500 mile trip and the truck road smooth and had no issues in all the rain. Handles like a dream. I wish I could get the same tires on my car!

New purchase on set of 4. My 1996 k1500

Smooth ride is a must for my husbands ailing back. I was sorry to see the fuel milage rating is actually higher with the rugged trail but the long trail exceeds the rugged trail with higher wear milage and greater comfort with the long trail tire. This is one smooth riding tire.

Follow up rating

Follow up to my Oct. 2012 review. Just went through a "moderate" winter. Not any deep snows (7" @ most), but frequent (3-5") snow and several sleet/freezing rain events. These tires plowed through it all with confidence. Traction, braking and handling were all there. I now have 8,000 mi. on these tires, with no signs of wear. It's still early in the game, but these tires are becoming one of my favorites. Vehicle is a 2011 Nissan Rogue AWD.

Excellent tire

I asked my son about 5 years ago about a good tire to buy. He recommened BF Goodrich radial Long Trail T/A. Bought a set and now have almost 50,000 miles on them. I believe that another 20,000 miles to go. These have been excellent tires along with no problems!

Still going strong

I wrote a review about the BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A Tour tires on my 2004 Chevrolet Colorado back in September of 2012 on this site. As of today, I finally passed the 100,000 mile mark. 100,044 to be exact. Although they do show some signs of age after 5+ years, I still have 2-3/16's of tread left. As long as I have tread left, I'll keep driving on them. I will write one more review when I finally have them replaced. These tires are by far the best I've ever owned.

Great value

This tire is a good looking, good driving tire. It does well in dry, rain and snow. I have a 2wd pickup, but I have yet to get stuck with these tires, in the snow. They are a quiet, good looking tire. I would like to personally thank the designers at BFG for not putting those stupid ribs all the way around the outside sidewall. So many other brands have these and it makes them hard to clean and to keep shiny without flinging tire dressing down the side of my truck. I will continue to be a BFG customer for life. Great tires at a good price.

Better than I expected!

These aren't the tires I wanted. I wanted another manufacturer's, but they weren't available and winter was coming, so I went with my dealer's second recommendation. I went from yard sale, siped tires off a Durango, which were noisy as all get-out, to these, which were quiet enough to enable quiet conversations; what a relief! When the snow did come, the tires performed OK, but you have to remember that these are NOT rated for icy conditions for a very good reason. Snow on top of ice is still ice. They will act as any other non-studded tire acts on ice. Having said that, the real test came when we got dumped on all at once. With 15" on the ground, I decided to see what the tires would do, so I went for a ride. In four wheel drive, these things just grunted, dug in, and used the bumper for a snow plow. I was truly amazed that a long-mileage street tire could do what I was seeing these tires do. There was no slip, no hesitation, no nothing. Just go. They are everything I expected from them and more. After my ride, I told my wife that I thought I would keep these tires. Would I buy them again? Based on my limited experience (about 3 months -- the winter performance was most important to me) the answer is an unqualified "YES". And if they live up to their name, so much the better. As far as fuel efficiency is concerned, they averaged about 0.3mpg better than what I had previously, which would not seem much to a 30mpg car, but I get half that.

So far, so good

This is my first set of BFG tires. Replaced the worthless OE tires (shot at 17,800 mi.) on a 2011 Nissan Rogue AWD. I did a fair amount of research and this tire kept coming up as a good replacement as far as price/performance. The car rides and handles better than it ever has. Recently completed a 200 mi. round trip on hilly, winding backroads in windy, on/off rain showers. Tires stuck to the road amazingly well, and at no point did they feel sloppy or loose. I have also noticed a 1-2 mpg increase in highway gas mileage. So far, I am extremely pleased. Time, and use, will tell if they hold up as well over the long run.

Awesome tires!

I'm on my second set of BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail P225/75R15 tires on my 2004 Chevrolet Colorado. The first set had to be replaced at 59,589 miles due to an unknown object cutting a sidewall open. As of today my truck has 151,051 miles. The current tires have 91,462 and are going strong. I feel I could get at least another 20K+ out of them. I rotate them every 5K, check the tire pressure on a regular basis and have good alignment.
