These tires are on my dodge 2500 and I pull a 32ft goose neck and the tires are great, I wish I would of gotten the warranty for only 100.00 bucks next time, love the tires
Purchased a set and love them. They are quiet on the road, great traction in mud. Have not tried in the sand yet...
These tires chew up mud and spit it out. Rocks will roll out of the way when they hear these KM2's coming down the road. Great off-road and city/highway tires. On asphalt they'll give you a low growl that will certainly catch a stare or two when you're rolling down the street. 110% happy with these bad boys...
great tire and so far i am very pleased with it now.
ALL AOUND GREAT TIRE!!! would reccomend to any one.
This tire was well worth the money spent. I've had mine about two years now and by the end of 2010 I will buy a new pair. BFG has designed a excellent tire.
Great tires so far still way too early to give feedback on wearability. They seem very tough and have good traction. So far they performed fine in the snow. Because of the narrowness thatI wanted, the ride is a bit hard. They stand tall and look great and are E rated.
Looking for a 30 inch Trail Tire? You have found it! We have tested this tire over and over again, the BFG 30x9.50R-15LT, Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 Tire is up for any challenge.
Great tire, Just needs to be rotated very frequently
Good tires in dry and mud, but not as good as my km2’s on snow and ice nice that they offer a 285/75/17 in these as it’s a pretty uncommon size
On a scale of 5 I give this tire a 4 in the mud, 4 on dirt and rocks, 4 on wet road, 4 on ride and handling, 2 on ice, and a 2 on wear. Good all around tire, but wear moderately fast even with proper rotation and the shorter the tread the louder the tire becomes. At 50% tread I would turn the radio up on the road and down at a stop light. They are very quiet and smooth when new and by the time they were worn out at 28,000 miles I was glad to be rid of them. I had them on an 08 2500 Dodge Power Wagon and pulled an equipment trailer weighing 16000 pounds about 10,000 of the 28,000 miles and may explain the low mileage but I have run other MT tires that have 40,000 miles doing the same job. Great for a Jeep or 1500 pickup, but wouldn’t advise using them on a 2500 and expect them to wear well. Especially if you have a heavy diesel engine up front.
Tire works well against hydro plaining. Mud, snow and rock no problem. Ice you will need studs. Lightest tire in its class under 40 lbs and tallest in its class a true 33".
This is my second Jeep Wrangler. Both were equipped with these tires from the factory. My first Jeep had 85,000 km on it when I traded it. The tires had about 20% tread left. My current Rubicon has 95,000 km on it and still has about 15% tread left. I have rotated my tires every 10,000 km or so. As they wear down, the tread tends to cup, so regular rotations are recommended. They get a bit noisy when they wear down, but not so much that's it's annoying. The tires are a very good all season tire. I had a bit less traction on ice and snow this past winter when the tread was wearing down but never got into any trouble. A very good and versatile tire if you drive highway, city, and off road. The mileage I have gotten out of these tires is the best thing, though, because I like to get the best bang for my buck. I've never had a flat, although I did have a slow leak once when I ran over a nail. Had it repaired and it hasn't been a problem since. I thought about going to a different tire, but I think I'll stick with these.
This tire is a spare for offroading to match the existing tire/rim combo that exists on my vehicle. Everything I asked the vehicle and tires to do, they did. We were on 676 (ORV road and/or fire roads) just south and east of Mt. Rainer in Washington state. It is labeled as "most difficult" in many areas. Peformed as expected! With the triple side wall, this offered some level of confidence for the quality of the tire and preserving the equipment. I didn't use these tires for crawling, just offroad trails, roots, rocks, mud, etc.
These are some of the best mud tires around. You can Daily drive them and they don't drive you crazy. They look better than the old BFG MTs and don't have that "square" look to them. They churn through the mud and are great on the trails. I only have a few thousand miles on them, but it looks like they will last a good long time.
Good tires that are easily controlled even in the larger sizes.
I drive on the street probaly 95% of the time. The KM2's were a big surprise to me on how quiet they are and they handle just as good. For a tire that is 37 inch tall they do amazingly well on the road with little or no vibration at all. I am very picky and so far am VERY pleased!
Didn't slip or slide once driving on the ice last week. Look great. No complaints.
