KM2 255/75-17s came stock on my 2021 Willys Sport 2-door. At well over 30,000 miles they still have a good amount of tread, and I have been fairly astonished at what they allowed me to achieve on the trail. I have rotated them every 5,000 miles and have noticed no unusual wear patterns.
I've bought several sets of these in the past and they have been the best tire I have ever run. The KM3s are a complete downgrade. The KM3s are harder and slip more. The KM2 has the perfect tread softness for sticking to rocks and long lasting on the roads. They are much better in the snow too. The Km2s have the best tread and sidewall design for rock crawling. Please bring them back. I have KM3s right now and unless BFG brings back the KM2s, they will be the last BFG tire I buy.
I seriously don’t know what any of these reviewers are talking about. I bought my jeep 4 years ago and it came with brand new BFG Mid Terrain T/A KM3’s. I’m considering replacing them soon as they are finally getting to that point. I drive 90 miles a day round trip to work 4 days a week and it’s ALL highway. I rip down the highway too. None of this 55 mph nonsense. These tires have NEVER blown out, the wear is EVEN, and I’ve put 65,000 miles on these tires so far and they still have life in them. I’ll get them again and again. Thank you BFG!
I’m on my second set of the KM2 and I love the look and aggressive thread. I’ve owned numerous brands, both AT and MT including KO and KM1 and the KM2 west amazing, take my Jeep’s anywhere and look amazing with the white letters. Mine are up for replacement and I was very sad to find out the KM2 are discontinued and KM3 are not only getting complaints, but no longer have white letters available. In order to get white letters I have to buy a kit from a third party. Please bring back the KM2 or sell my 265/70/17 of the last ones you have because I don’t want to buy expensive tires and have to spend even more for letters that will eventually fall off
I have a set of these on my 06 f 250 and have had no issues with them, I take my truck on hard shell rock and mud and still holding up great, I’m a about ready for my new set and I got about 50,000 miles out of this set
I've been running on BF Goodrich for decades. I can't believe some of these revues! Don't people know that running on dirt/gravel/rocks EATS tires? I have a set that came on my '16 Rubicon; about half of the tread still there after 30,000 miles... I'll replace soon, with another set of same! But I'll probably
70K miles and going strong on a dual locked, dual transfercase, beadlocked old school 4runner. Driven cross-country at least a couple times a year to hit places like Uhwharrie, Moab, Canyonlands, North Rim. Vehicle weighs ~6k fully loaded. I run about 42psi street and always air down on dirt. Raising psi dramatically increases wear life especially if you have added heavy accessories like plate bumpers, winch, sliders, swingout tire carrier etc. Disclosure: I do have a full size 33" spare which get rotated out with the others.
I have a Jeep Wrangler 2009 with about 112,000 miles. I went thru two sets of Goodyear Wrangler at 30,000 per set. These tires I am going on about 53,000 miles. They are low and will be replaced sometime this fall. Great tires. Worth spending more for a better tire. As far as noise or this or that. Hey I am a young 62, and like my kids say. Daddy you have selective hearing. These tires you can feel hugging the road.
Loved these tires and put them on multiple vehicles...really hope BFG brings them back so I can replace them one day. The km2’s have a classic look that works great on older classic trucks which the km3 can’t offer...please bring back!
Buying online was painless. Tires arrived at installer ahead of scheduled. No issues at installer. Tires look great. Completely changed the look of my truck!! I’ll definitely recommend them to others and I’ll be buying them again once I wear out the first set.
I love these tires. I go through cactus and never lost air. very smooth riding and no noise. I will buy again.
I am on my second set of 35/12.50/17s and absolutely love them on my 99 Dodge 2500 diesel. They out perform the old K/Os never got more than 30000 miles with them. These K/M2s first set 40000 then they separated bad tire stir repair, current set over 50000 and still going. And that’s with towing a 40 ft toy-hauler for most of that time. Love them hope I can get them again.
I run 33x10.5x15 on my side by side, the KM3’s are too heavy. I love these tires and can’t get them anymore. Please bring them back
My Jeep loved them! This is the first time in my life that I was not afraid to drive in the snow! As other people were sliding around, I was chill and on my merry way!
Love my KM2's. Will never buy KM3's looks like I'm switching to Mickey when these wear out, Bad move deleting the best tire you ever made
Put them on my Jeep Wrangler jk two years go and I have 100,000 miles may get another 20,000 before I get new ones
Second set on an AEV JK350 Wrangler JK 2 Door (2012-3.5 inch lift, 4.10 gearing). Over two sets of these tires, totaling 76,000 miles, the only place I am concerned about these tires is in 2Hi in an inch or so of snow. Deeper is fine. Mud great. Typical 4Hi uses, great. Some say they are loud, I have a soft top and Line-X instead of carpeting, and never have my drain plugs in, so everything is loud. The loudest I heard the first set was right at the 40,000 mile mark, howling would have been the word used. I am constantly comparing the tires to other makes/models. The only tire I would probably replace this with is the KM3. I've never had the balancing issues others mention either. 2 sets, never have had uneven wear.
very nice tires i put them on my 1995 f350 7.3 diesel truck we never got stuck and never will first of all my diesel truck dont get stuck and never will plus these tires add on to that plus these tires your for a work truck street truck these tires are the best
On my second set and will be buying a 3rd and 4th if they're still available! Had 75K miles on first set and had at least 10-15k left in them but was side swiped and cut a 1/4" deep gash in the sidewalls. Her ins paid for a new set so happy day. Have approx 40K on the new set and still half the tread before I get to the wear bars. Tough as nails, good road manners, great in mud and snow, long life what more could you ask for in a tire!
Bought them 6 years ago and put about 80,000 miles on them in a square body chevy
